The most painful thing I have endured in the call center industry was being a customer of Monster. They were acquired by a company with seemingly no contact center experience. They continually allowed SSL Certifications to expire causing catastrophic outages for my inbound customer service lines. The support was sometimes helpful, but most the time the communication was terrible, there was never any follow up, and we had to badger them for answers to simple questions. We would warn them that we were experienced odd behavior of their solution, and they would blame it on our internet. Usually when this occurred it was leading up to a significant outage. Had they given our concerns a second look, those could have potentially been avoided. My most favorite memory was the sales rep and technical support screen sharing during a meeting, messaging each other about us, and forgetting they were sharing their screen! When we announced our intention to discontinue our service, the owner suddenly took a position that he had been "wanting to speak with me for months about a more efficient and cheaper way of routing our calls" but nothing of the sort had been mentioned prior to our exit. If you're considering them for your office phones, sure. I bet they're great. If you're relying on them to support your constant inbound traffic - it's simple - don't.

Extremely unreliable service. Text messages would MOST times not even be deliver by the system. Tech support would follow up and be very apologetic but never resolve the issues. I don't need a company to apologize profusely every time I call, I want a company that resolves issues and provides a functional service.

If you're a small business owner and need reliable voice and SMS this is not the service for you!
