Miwok Park is nice, pretty clean usually.
It's a much nicer park, than just 3 stars but the people who bring their dogs off-leash are the ones who ruin it. Often it's people involved in the activity at the park, like today, who expected me to be fine and gentle with her as I was walking my 2 dogs who were not happy with a little snappy thing barking at them, there is at least 3 regulars who walk their dogs from outside the neighborhood, off-leash, and also insist "it's just fine." Those folks absolutely change the rating for the park, I've seen the dogs run up to others walking, with and without leashes, and the owners are NEVER closer than 20 feet to their dogs.

Many parks in Elk Grove have playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic areas, and soccer fields. But not too many parks have them all. Miwok Park, one of the parks, has all of them. The park also has many big trees. Most of the areas are shaded. Walking in the park is enjoyable and comfortable.

Miwok Park, or as our kids fondly call it, "Squirrel Park," is a charming place where these fluffy creatures seem to rule the roost. My history with this park goes back to my own childhood, and now I get to create new memories with my daughter.

Our visits often revolve around peaceful picnics, allowing the kids to explore and play freely. They find joy in the various hideouts, the monkey bars, and even the wooden boat. There's something heartwarming about their laughter as they pretend to sail on it! 😄

The tire swing and the cute painted tiles are other treasures in this park that never fail to captivate the kids' attention. It's a place where cherished family moments are made, and the squirrels add that extra touch of magic.

They probably should the p ark "squirrel park". There are so many squirrels running around the park....it is crazy, but entertaining. The play structure is made with a type of wood product and it is safe for the kids to play on. This park has a tennis court and a lot of shade trees for comfort.

Nice community park. Great for young children and teens. Several tennis courts available also. Large grass area with soccer goals.

Beautiful park, great shade around the playground. Unfortunately, the restrooms were out of commission because someone has taken residence in them recently :/ otherwise, awesome park!

This neighborhood park is an older one with massive trees with abundant shade, tennis courts and walking trail, wooden jungle equipment for children, and neighborhood street parking. Discovered it as my beloved Club Pilates is closed during the Pandemic. Pilates in the Park is offered a couple early AM sessions a week and has been refreshing to attend outdoors in such a serene setting. Nice to see some of the regular club attendees also enjoying the fresh air and found a new trail in EG!
