First time ever trying Mission BBQ totally blown away by the customer service by Darrell working the service room. First time very friendly walk up to the counter place your order and then they call your name and bring your food. Sit down eat your meal. Darrell was working in the dining room. He was super friendly greeted us after our meal. Made sure we were enjoying ourselves and answered Any questions. Was able to offer us a free sample of a Red Velvet dessert and also provided us with a return free sandwich to try something else on the menu. The theme of military and police and all the memorabilia hanging on the wall is absolutely amazing. Definitely will return to this location. Based on the great food. Great barbecue restaurant. We had pulled pork and pulled chicken. Great sides, mac & cheese( award winning we were told ) and fries, everything was amazing. Eat at this location and chain !!

This place is just great. I have loved their food for years. In fact, before I was ever even a Veteran. Not the vibe and respect means even more! The service is amazing and the food is consistently good. The Tampa location has been my sister’s option for parties for nearly a decade. I found my self in The Villages and it’s just as good now with the memories and enhanced experience of the Veteran’s parking spots! Don’t be eating up all the moist brisket before I get there Shipmate!!!

We are on vacation, staying at the Villages, and stumbled onto Mission BBQ in Lady Lake while searching for a place to get some pulled pork.

Here is my take:
1. We first visited two weeks ago and have been there two times since.

2. Pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sides are the best I have ever had at a BBQ joint.

3. Customer service is excellent. Employees are professional, efficient, and welcoming

5. The place is clean and pleasant.

Bottom line... best BBQ joint I have been.to.

We had a great experience! Service and food were both exceptional. My husband and son loved looking at all the pictures and patches. We're from St Louis and frequent Kansas City for good BBQ. Our food rivaled most restaurants that we love. Can't wait to come back!

I wish I could rate as a 4.5, because I'm taking into account my friends meal as well - I had the smoked turkey sandwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed, with thick cut smokey turkey, I was a happy camper. My friend on the other hand had the pulled pork sandwich which she was not a fan of, I tried some too but it didn't do it for me. I would love to go back one day and try some other things off the menu, in which case I may change my rating, but still a great place you should check out. Even the smells walking in are amazing!

I was on a mission to find some good old fashioned fully smoked BBQ for dinner. One of my patients mentioned Mission BBQ. This is my first time eating at Mission BBQ in Lady Lake. I was greeted by a welcoming staff in a very clean restaurant. Nevaeh took my order with a smile & helped me w my ToGo order. But the best CREW MEMBER IS DURRELL‼️He was so professional but down to earth & friendly‼️ The food presentation was absolutely amazing. I ordered 1/2 bird, brisket & burnt ends. My MISSION is now accomplished ‼️ I am totally grateful for the AMAZING customer service. The food was fresh & so delicious‼️ I will definitely refer and recommend this restaurant to my family & friends. This is my new go to restaurant for BBQ‼️

I've tried nearly everything here and the food .....dear baby Jesus ! The food is spectacular!! I am trying to find something there I don't like. It's impossible!! The staff is family like and always smiling even through the occasional Karen that comes in. The place is clean, and seating is inside and outside. Never have I not been able to find a table. If you want to catch the Smoked Salmon, you'd better be early to supper or a luncher. They graciously support our first responders, and that is what attracted us in the first place. Can't give enough thanks to our Vets and 1st Responders. All in all we eat here at the very least once a week!!!
