The local residents call the Sheriff when they have people come to "their" beach that they don't want around and the Sheriff will trespass them from a public beach with no evidence or anything. Funny how the "locals" are mostly transplants from Ukraine and Russia.

We rented the Frances Langford Pavilion for a wedding venue on August 24, 2024 and this was the most frustrating experience ever!
Let me recap the chaos for those of you folks thinking of renting this facility:
1. the venue is on the 2nd floor. The night of the event the elevator was not working and the staff did not turn it on, therefore we had to carry 4 elderly guests up and down the stairs.
2.Our "approved" vendors had to carry everything back down the stairs after the event.
3. After we had paid for the venue "in full" several weeks before the event, they called 3 days before the event demanding an additional $500.00 refundable damage deposit, which we really had no choice to pay as it was 3 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING!
4. They told us the vendors would have access to the venue at 1pm the day of the event to set up. We got a call at 1:30pm from a vendor saying they were not being granted access, so my daughter(the bride) and my wife had to leave the hairdresser to go down there. When they arrived, they were told the vendor had signed the paperwork and all was good..
5. One week after the event, my wife left 4 messages regarding the deposit and never received a return call, finally she was directed to a different phone number and received a return call only to be told to call the original number again.
6. Almost 2 weeks after the event an email was sent saying the deposit was being retained due to "unapproved vendor".
7. Just incredibly rude people, they hung up on my wife.
DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO RENTING THIS VENUE FOR ANY REASON!
In closing, I am the Pastor of Jensen Beach Christian Church who has referred several wedding parties to this venue in the past, but I will never again recommend this venue for any event and I will be sure to pass my experience on to my fellow Pastors in Martin County

Horrible experience renting the Frances Langford Pavilion for my daughter’s wedding. Would not recommend renting it to my worst enemy. It is a shame such a beautiful venue is run by a rude and misleading administration. Please read mrgcalvert’s detailed review of horrors.

Beach is amazing and staff are even better. Ruth the bartender was just a delight!!!! So kind and personable. The gentleman that handled the chairs and umbrellas was also awesome - I did not catch his name. What kindness.

Martin county needs to add more pickle ball courts to the Langford park. There are 30 people waiting to play! There are eight people playing tennis! This is not OK for senior citizens of Martin County, and the tourists coming in Need a place to play pickle ball that’s not a half an hour away! Somebody needs to look at this very carefully! Pickleball is the largest growing sport in the world! The people and tourists of Martin county shouldn’t be left behind. We need more courts!

Beach is fantastic. Lifeguards are very aware of surroundings. There’s even a weekend ice cream/water vendor. But mainly writing to express my deepest appreciation for CLEAN RESTROOMS! As visitors from out of state, VERY impressed. Thank you!!!

For many years I enjoyed the beauty of the ponds at Indian riverside park in Jensen beach. Spent hours photographing the herons, egrets, Anhinga and the nesting, the ducklings. Now the ponds are barren of foliage, no birds, no beauty. Just the effects of a thoughtless chemicalization. This is not good stewardship of our natural resources
