This is our second time at Crystal Shores and we will be back again. The villas are beautiful and have everything you need for a wonderful week’s vacation. The balcony is the best with a table for two and two cushioned lounge chairs. The property is extremely clean and there are 3 pools, a grotto with water slide in a shaded area, an upper pool for quiet, and lower pool for families, music and activities. As long as we were out by 10 o’clock, we did not have a problem getting 2 chairs with umbrella. We walked on the beach in the morning but didn’t spend time during the day.|Cabanas by the pool can be hard to get. We heard that certain status people can book months ahead so this is disappointing. Stilts and Pizza Cucina are the only restaurants on site but there are options right across the street. Also, great souvenir shopping across the street.|The kids loved the ice cream and activities. Adults loved the Tom Brady fund raiser water bottles with boozy lemonade and free refills. 😀

We’re owners at Grand Ocean, decided to try something new. Blown away. Staff here is friendly, kids are having a blast, rooms are nice, beach is close, great shelling.

Upper pool is informally adults only, lower pool is great for kids and has high energy/good vibes, grotto is quieter and very shaded. Pools are heated. Slide is pretty impressive for the size. Kids and adults love it.

A wonderful resort. From check-in to check-out to meals on site and the pools and beach, we were very well taken care of in a beautiful location. We ordered food from each of the restaurants to take back to our room and had a drink at the bar during the World Series with a fun bartender. The sunset walks on the beach were amazing. Very quiet area - not a lot going on in Marco Island, but the facilities are top notch! And the concierges are great. And we even received a note from the manager, wine and super yummy chocolates for our 25th wedding anniversary. Super comfortable rooms as well. We highly recommend this property!

First, the parking garage smelled of a strong odor of trash. The lobby/checkin was locked at 9:30pm when we arrived. Although we knocked and staff saw us, they ignored us. We walked to a different door to get in and again knocked, and again ignored. Finally, another guest let us in. The two associates were rude and didn’t even say hello or welcome. Checked us in to what we were promised, a full “ocean” view in a fully wheelchair accessible unit. We get to our room, and that was not what we received. We were put in a room with a very limited side view on the gulf on a loud service road side of the building. The room we were put in is not fully wheelchair accessible. You can not even get out onto the patio. The microwave and counter tops are too high to reach, and there was no bench in the roll in shower. When we called, we were informed a manager would call us. That never happened. The next day we woke up to the worst smell of garbage in our room. Our room was right in front of the trash shoot and it was enough to cause breathing problems. I called, spoke to a new front desk person who was very nice, was told a manager and room controller would call us back. Never happened. I called 90 mins later and the room controller answered, telling me other than a non-ada ramp for the patio, and an unauthorized shower chair for the bathroom, I was out of luck. Again, asked for a manager. Again, no response. ||These reasons led us to leave. In the end when we checked out, the manager said although she was aware of the situation, she had no clue I wanted to talk to her and didn’t feel that the situation warranted a call back. She did try ti appease us with another room, but again, was not a true ada wheelchair accessible room. ||It was a very disheartening experience. Their staff should be trained fully in what their ada units provide and what they don’t before someone books. They need to do something about the sickening trash odor threat filled their garage and the trash shoot next to room 511 that overwhelmed the room. ||Management should be on top of these issues and not wait for a guest to make multiple unanswered calls to address.||In the end, we left a 7 day stay after 12 hours.

This is our second stay at Crystal Shores and it’s a beautiful resort, right on the beach in Marco Island. We are MVC owners and really enjoyed our stay. The villas are probably the nicest of the MVC’s in Florida. We had an ocean view one in the Osprey Building on the 6th floor. My only dislike was the trash truck which came daily right below our room at 7:30-8:00 and woke us up. When we return, we will ask for an ocean view on the opposite side of the resort. The Hilton next door isn’t the quietest neighbor either, with all day tree trimming yesterday. This resort has the best huge, well appointed balconies; if you enjoy sitting outside and looking at the Gulf, this is a perfect resort to do that! ||There was a Halloween party that was really nice for the guests! They had a well- attended haunted walk through with candy for the kids and a bar for the grownups. It was very well executed and a nice entertaining touch for the guests! Fun event!||My only suggestion for Crystal Shores would be to encourage their employees to smile and be a little friendlier. ( The front desk is very friendly and helpful but the timeshare ladies in the lobby seem kind of grumpy.) Compared to the other MVC’s ( we have been to most all in FL.) they could interact with guests in a more gregarious manner. ||Overall, it was a lovely vacation and we highly recommend this resort!!!||We will return for certain!

Beautiful location, near to beach. Staff was really accommodating. We had some odor in the room and they came and fixed it immediately and next day also staff was constantly follow up with us. Many activities they have for whole family. Rooms are really specious and clean.

What a beautiful property. The staff is amazing. Everyone from the two girls who checked me in, to house keeping and all in between, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast was nice, wasn't just cereal and coffee like some places I have stayed at in the past. I will one hundred percent come back again.

7:25am Garbage Truck beeping and clanging. DAILY. Before our visit we requested a quiet room, that’s all. We didn’t ask for anything else. Osprey Building 409. We kindly asked for a different room as soon as we saw the alley. The GM Jean Louis insisted there was nothing he could do and he confirmed the garbage noise is every morning, always. No apologies, goodwill, or compensation was offered. ||Why hasn’t he worked with the company to adjust the timing of garbage collection? This isn’t a new problem to him. We get up for work and school every day, we deserved to sleep on our vacation. I had in ear plugs and it still woke me up,our kids and even our teenager! ||The lovely beach and pool are completely negated by the 7:25 am wake up everyday of vacation. We will never return.
