Botanical garden more famous for association with George Harrison’s house which is turned into a museum now. The garden itself is not that impressive, for the price they charge I was expecting something more.

We entered the garden at 3:45 pm and the closing time was 5 pm so we tried to cover all the places in but we were amazed by the beauty of this place. There are multiple types of plants, you name it and it's there - Orchids, tropical plants, various flowering plants , bonsai, cactus, old banyan trees etc. There is a koi fish pond as well where you can feed the fishes.Fish good is available at ticket counter for $2. You can see different types of butterflies, bees, birds etc. A very peaceful place. We would come again and we will come early so that we won't be in a hurry next time 😊

What a beautiful garden! We got there about noon. The garden was not packed at all. It was a beautiful day. They were setting up for their Christmas lights. Some areas still little damaged from hurricane but they are working on it. It was very peaceful and inviting. We ended up buying the membership so we can go back and enjoy more later!

I had a fantastic visit to the botanical gardens. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the bay. It’s impressive to see how well they’ve recovered from the devastating hurricanes. The dedication to restoration and upkeep truly shows. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. We also always love coming around the holidays with all the lights. It’s beautiful.

This attraction has 2 major buildings, (the art museum and the arboratum) closed to prepare for the upcoming George Harrison event. Had the website provided this information, I probably would have postponed my visit before spending $46. They gave a $5 discount which was something. However those 2 buildings comprise 50% of the properties offering

Definitely worth the money despite part of it being closed off due to renovation. Please keep in mind this area was hit by a hurricane and it shows in part of the gardens but it is still worth going in my opinion. Wish I had the chance to see the Lights in Bloom but maybe next year. They have a beautiful gift shop as well as a restaurant.

The staff at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens are also incredible to work with, always attentive and ready to ensure that the day runs smoothly. For couples looking for a venue that blends natural elegance, ease, and a touch of tropical romance, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is truly a perfect choice!

So many fascinating displays, plants & flowers. We were stopped several times by docents who were able to help us identify various plants. They were all very knowledgeable! We enjoyed our visit especially all of the displays about George Harrison@
