I called since 8:30 a.m. I’ve been waiting on the phone for 4 hours. How is it possible that the county has SO MANY people waiting in queue when you literally just opened?! Even I can reach an IRS representative sooner than this place.

Wasting money on the biggest joke of an app. This county has no clue what they’re doing having their some of their employees from public works using an a cityworks 11 app. That don’t work half of time !!! Manatee county public works get it together quit making y’all’s employees use a joke of app!

These money hungry slobs are more worried about putting in homes to get more money into their pocket then a historic racetrack that a person put their hard earned money into to build back up, yet they get mad about street racing and side shows. Wouldn't happen as much if these tracks didn't get shut down. Just because you have a paper that says you graduated from a college doesn't mean you're smart. We all needa get these old caps outve these offices

Horrible....talking ton them and trying to get anything accomplished after giving them money is like dealing with a room full of monkeys.... DON'T PULL A PERMIT if you don't have too, they'll let you down every step of the way. All you're doing is paying for a headache...

Update: 20190625
On 19JUN2019, during a workshop for county commissioners, Developer Pat Neal shows up unannounced and unscheduled. Demanding the county provide $150,000 for a traffic study on Moccasin Wallow. Stating he would “bird dog” Chairman Jonsson.
On 20Jun2019, during a land use meeting by commissioners, Pat got it!

Update: 20190205
BCC has special LDC meeting to consider changes in Bldg height, affordable housing and cluster development. Two years ago they approved Carlos Beruff’s development Aqua by the Bay after he removed bldg causing commissioners problems because of its height. In December, 2018, a local judge found in favor of the developer against environmental groups with concerns about potential LDC and planning development violations. Judge Smith stated the public does not have the same “due process” as the parties involved. Any question of who runs the legislative, executive and judicial branches in Manatee County, FL?

Manatee County Commissioners (9th floor of County Administration Building):
Incapable and unwilling to address the embezzlement of the Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund (ISTF) by the Sheriff’s office with the collaboration of the county’s finance department. In addition, commissioners have failed to take any action against the Sheriff’s office for the harassment, assault and molestation of citizens by deputies with dazzler weapons, lasers, active denial systems and long range acoustic devices.
Furthermore, these same commissioners allow their state senator and representatives to undercut their initiatives. Particularly wrt developers and natural resources.
