this review is for the very unprofessional woman working the self check out on Tuesday 9/24 at 9:25am. I started doing the self check out and the machine was not recognizing some strawberries so I had try to catch her attention - she was in a long conversation with someone else about how this lady’s dog is doing etc not paying attention to anything else, she finally ended up walking over, didn’t even acknowledge me or Or say anything to me. I thanked her for entering the strawberries, she walked away and continued her conversation. Then I was having issues because the machine was not recognizing the strawberries that she entered that were now the bag. She was again completely oblivious to her duties. So I took my items and went directly next-door to a gentleman with a normal check out line. She then, finally walked back over to the machine I was on, then loudly started to talk about how people get pissed off when using the self check out machines, and laughing about it. She sees people get annoyed because she doesn’t usually do her job I am guessing. I wasn’t “pissed off, I just needed to check out and leave so I simply found a solution. So I let her know that because obviously I can hear her speaking badly about me 3 feet away, and then she proceeded to tell me she wasn’t talking about me specifically she was talking about people in general. Lol yeah I’m sure that was the case… Very rude, very unprofessional I couldn’t understand her being irritated if I threw a fit, said something rude to her and walked away, but I simply grabbed my items and went to a regular checkout line so for her to be sitting there in uniform with the major market button on her shirt, talking badly about me, literally in front of me, her coworkers and other customers is extremely uncalled for and very unprofessional. She then continued to laugh about it to the person she was talking with, this entire time. Not a good look for Major Market.
