Nice and quaint. Most items are a bit pricey but it’s never really a busy store and you can go in and get out quickly. For nearly a year I’ve been going there a few times a month. As I’m passing through Somerset I usually stop to purchase snacks or sometimes a few quick groceries. My only issue is the older white lady that works at the check stand near the entrance. Never a smile on her face and always seems like she’s unhappy. I can say hello and she will never return a hello or a hi or not even a thank you. Only thing she ever says is “Is that it?” She does it to everyone. How can Lowe’s have someone so unhappy and rude working at a check stand? Years ago I worked at HEB in the San Antonio and Austin areas and friendliness with coworkers and customers was upmost importance regardless of what department you worked. Dollar General down the road is probably going to be a better option from now on.

I come here all the time since its the closest store near my house because i live in Somerset , most stuff is not cheap and there is no deals most of the time only if the products are about to expire , staff is mostly nice and talkative which i like because we see them all the time almost everyday. Bought ice cream no more than 2 weeks ago here and tasted funny decided to look at the expiration date and it was expired in December 2024 and is march now , there was no discount ice cream tasted old and not good they should not sell products that expired months ago!

It's the only real grocery store in the town of Somerset, TX. It's small and looks dated, but so what. It's certainly no HEB, and the prices aren't as affordable as HEB, but it's not super expensive either. In a pinch, when maybe you just need a few items, not shopping for a whole month, this works fine. The few employees are friendly enough. Sure it could be better, or nicer. But I have nothing bad to say about this place. Support your local community. Go do some grocery shopping here. 👍

Haven't been there for yrs. It was clean and pleasant. Cashier was a bit blah but she did say thank you. No smile though, but it's a holiday eve, she was probably preoccupied. Prices were a bit higher than main stream grocers but there were a couple good deals. Certainly go there again

The store is ran down and over priced. Expect to pay premium $$ for generic items. Also, that town is one big speed trap! Be safe out there 😉

This is what i call a "little Country Store" I don't aways go to this store to shop in big quantity. But after work i decide to make really nice meal for my husband. Didn't wanted to drive 30 mins. to my normally store. Decided to drive 15 mins. Went to find what i was looking for. As i was walking through out the store I'm finding super great deal!
Store nice in clean, shelves nice in full, something are little pricey like gallon of milk. Friendly cashiers.
What caughtt my eyes were the deals.
Will come again every now and then.

It's was alright always pass by there and never stop so need something and didn't want to to walmart or heb cuz the drive is to long and football season is bk so I went to Lowe's down the street and and what did u no I went in to just get 1 thing and came out with a basket full of finger foods for the game 👍
