I have been coming to this theater for years and recently went to watch The Joker. My brother and I purchased tickets for the premium theater and we weren’t sure if there was going to be any difference. The screen was way bigger and felt more spacious. Seats reclined more. Overall the customer service is always good!! It also has bar so it’s perfect to go and grab a drink before the movie!

They recently hosted The Southern California International Film Festival - The SoCAL Fest in August. It was a smash hit! The Admin, Management, and Staff were spectacular. We couldn’t hope for better support and service. The theaters and space are immaculate; based in the Mayberry of Los Angeles, Monrovia!

This place is the worst. The recliners are old and self initiated, like with your own body power. Our seated were taken by a lady who brought extra kids, who thought it was okay to take people's seats. And don't order food, you will never get it. Thank God the servers don't walk off with your card or you'd probably have extra charges on there. Terrible time for a first time there. Won't be back. Thank you to the 2 employees the food manager and the bartender who helped us try to make it right.

I've been coming to this theater since it was the Krikorian. It was sad to see the Krikorian go but it was nice to see it transformed and turned into a more modern and elevated experience with the reclining seats and ability to order meals delivered to your seat. As time has passed, the Look Dine-In Cinema in Monrovia has slowly deteriorated and it seems as if updating and repairing is not an option. For example, on Thanksgiving 2024 we went to watch Wicked. We were in Auditorium #8, the upholstery on the seats was peeling and torn, and there were ceiling tiles on the verge of falling with insulation exposed. We saw passed it and enjoyed the movie and a nice meal. Today we watched Mufasa, we decided to splurge a little and purchase tickets in the PX theater, in Auditorium #4. It was nice that these seats mechanically recline at a press of a button, but were in the same disheveled state as those in Auditorium #8. The thing that tipped the scale and gave it a bad review was the service. We ordered our food right as the movie was starting, received our drinks minutes after, but the food was nowhere in sight. It was hard to focus on the movie as every movement made by anyone in the theater would lead us to hopeful search of our meals. Finally we look at our watch and it had been 1 hour since we ordered. We pressed the button for assistance to follow up on the food and it took approximately 15-20 minutes for someone to show up. At least they did show up with food in hand. The flavor was good, but the burgers and fries were all cold. I hope they do better and seek to improve the theater experience.

I just wanted to share that I had the worst first experience at this location, so bad that I don’t think I ever want to come back. The service here is abysmal. My boyfriend & I ordered our food at 8:28PM & we did not get our full order until about 10:20PM. We went to see Wicked so this was already half of the movie.

Everyone in the whole row (including my sister & her partner) got their popcorn besides us. We didn’t get it until at LEAST 20 minutes later. My boyfriend got his water probably 10 minutes after that, but they didn’t bring me my Dr. Pepper until 45 minutes to an hour after ordering it at 8:28PM.

I waited patiently for our food but once it hit over an hour, I called over service and the server asked what our order was. He did that twice which made us feel as if he wasn’t paying attention even though it looked as if he placed the order on the iPad. Everyone else got their food within 30-40 minutes of ordering. We waited practically the whole movie.

I would’ve spoke to someone after but no one was at the front. I have emailed them already and waiting for a response but I will not be returning. In addition to the crap service, the seats are outdated and peeling apart. For the $80 we spent overall, I’d rather go to AMC.

Comfortable seats. Food was decent but not worth the price. Took 45min for them to serve it to us. We ordered it 30min before the movie started and they brought it to us in about 15 minutes into the movie. I asked for ranch didn’t get the ranch. Drinks took over an hour was served after the meal. Overall nice place to watch movies but the service and food needs to be improved.

I've lived in this city for years and have always attended this theater through the various ownerships. Since it became "Look Cinemas" the food and service has been horrible BUT last Friday (Nov. 15th), with mgr Brenda Flores and Juan (in the kitchen), the food and service was the BEST since it became "Look Cinemas." The food was so good and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you Brenda!!

Classy atmosphere and great setting. However, i have concerns about the process of watching a movie at your location.

While the option to order food from our seats is convenient, my recent experience highlighted some significant disruptions. During the screening, guests were ordering food throughout the film, and waitstaff frequently moved back and forth with large trays, leading to considerable distractions. This interference was particularly disruptive during crucial scenes, detracting from the overall movie experience.

I strongly recommend that the menu be unavailable for ordering once the film begins. Implementing this change would greatly enhance the viewing experience and maintain the elegant ambiance your cinema strives to provide.
