I have been in an apt here on HALLMARK for just a month. I came from PA lining in a rental I was in for 13 yrs never have I experience this. The ceiling and walls in living room leak horrendously. The ceiling fan is a sprinkler. Ive contacted Lone Star they sent people to take estimates and pictures and put a tarp up there which made it even worse.Ive lost my job since I was in a probationary period and had to take off twice because of trying to dump the water out all night and off of my belongings when it leaked on everything I own. Please send help. Went to speak to someone just after this post. She was very nice and stated once again she would help me even make it a priority. I appreciate the help Melissa. But she turned out to be a plant to just cover up the fact that the owner knew nothing. I will try to be patient.REMEBER THIS : THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT KNOWING THEY COULDNT. THEY ARE NOW FORCING ME INTO AN EVICTION BECAUSE THEY HAVENT FIXED IT AND I WILL NO LONGER PAY TO STAY HERE. The ceiling fell down on me every attempt they made to temporarily fix the leak was unsuccessful. Now you want to take me to court an extort more money from me to continue to live in an unsafe home. I paid for a apt and got an apt that should have been demolished. Despicable no concern for a human beings life.UPDATE they have gone in while I was waiting for court and done this:see pics. This is what I have been cleaning up. The water coming from this toxic roof and flooring. Only God knows what they have exposed me too. I have my day in court on the 12th. He told me to leave thexapt not an eviction but still being charged by Lone Star.. He said whatever to end the day. If your still living and breathing in Hallmark apts , I suggest you get out quick and see a Dr. you could be paying to kill yourself as well. Taking advantage of many tenants there. The damage to my apt was all through the building and they covered it up . The place should be condemned for health risks.

Please do not go THERE for rental.
They wont refund ur rental deposit, doesnt matter how clean u do still they will charge u. Even u hired their own cleaning agent.
This is their goal to keep ur deposit.
Telling you...bad rental property ever.
They gave u dirty apartment but they wanna back brand new apartment.
If u go, u will loose ur deposit.
I attached some picture when i take this apartment..as i told u they gave u dirty apartment and also charge u for cleaning even u clean by their agent.
Many people saying before i go there they wont back ur deposit, i Couldn't believe that time. NOW i saw that. I email them no reposnse.
Moreover they will charge u for electricity even u keep the electricity more than 5 days for inspection.
U cant say because u r not there they do inspection with ur absence.
U will find other company..

Checked out one of the apartments off e central Texas Expy. Online it Said available, 3D tour looked perfect, upon actually seeing the unit we were shocked to find the oven in the middle of the dining room with the glass shattered on top of it. It was super hot in the unit. I went to check the thermostat and it said the AC was on set to 70 degrees. I tried moving the temp down a little bit to see if it would kick on and it never did. I checked the breakers and everything was in the "on" position. I checked the closet where the AC box thing is. Lol don't know what it's called. And everything looked fine. When I went back and told the office she acted surprised and said oh the breakers are probably off to keep people from running the AC while it's vacant. I didn't tell her I had already checked the breakers and knew that wasn't the issue. But the fact they have 4 units suddenly coming available and the only one available now has a broken thermostat/AC might mean it's a problem within the apartments. Also, listing an apartment as available when it's clearly not is unprofessional. They clearly don't care about their properties or future tenants.

Lone Star Realty really made the moving transition go smoothly. For the most part the employees had a good attitude and explained all move-in and move -out procedures. I will continue doing business with this company. Missy was the person I spoke with and she gave me good leads on different properties. Thank you all so much and I am very happy with my new place of residency.

I was tenant,lived in Killeen apartment for a year.I had a bad experience for getting refund of my deposit.Deposit was 550 dollars but got back only 110 dollars.they charged me cleaning fee while I hired their cleaning agent to clean that apartment.😂
They also charged me for utility where my utility was up to date wherever it was 5 days more once I left that apartment. Still they charged me😂
If you guys wanna rent Their apartment just forget about deposit as you Won't get it back.It's their aim to keep tha deposit money for no matter what😂
