filthy store, the air quality in the store is unclean as well; the prices? well they should change their name as they are not a Thrift Store at all. they sell filthy old clothing at outrageous prices, and I found an old computer speaker partial system they were selling at $20 less than the new price; what I have noticed in visiting this wretched city, is the victim mentality of these lower class so-called christians--that they believe in suffering. this store figures their ten year old clothing has enough life in it to sell it as nearly new; the managers I have discovered do not care to offer discounts to customers in need; and the workers in the back private area are rude and uncooperative. In the big city--the manager always caters to his clientele--no rigid rules. In Miami I can go into a thrift store and find a new pair of Armani jeans albeit with a broken zipper--for $5; I have found over $400 Jones NY like new, women's full jacket pant suits in Miami for $15, here they would jack the price up to 75% list value...not that you'd ever find Designer clothing in any of these stores.

Store is well kept. Very organized and easy to find items by category. I am not happy with their prices though. If you are lucky enough to find something that is on the 70 or 50 percent off discount… then you’ve done well. But most items are way to high priced, especially for used clothing!! Plus they tend not to do a good job looking over their donated clothing items for tears, holes or stains. I’ve had to return 2 items so far because of this problem. Of course the tags were still attached and my payment receipt in hand.

The store is very well kept . All of the employees are very kind an eager to help. My only complaint is the air conditioner is out and the heat is completely unbearable for customers and employees. As customers at least we have the option to leave. As the employees can not. The heat is inhuman the exployees was drenched in sweat. If myself an my children would have stayed in this store any longer we would have had a guaranteed heat stroke! My children became very sick an I had to get them out in ac an hydrated quickly. This problem needs to be fixed ASAP as it has been a problem for more than a week if not more that I am aware of. A day or two is understandable. But this a problem that should have been taken care of already. For the health an concern of customers and employees. With that being said I love light House ministries and all they do . An amazing God based program that has helped so very many. God bless

I have been taking donations to this thrift store for years. It has always been my go to despite the fact that there are many in our area. However, the last two times I dropped off I circled around the building to leave only to see my items being thrown away. I do not donate trash. In fact the last item was only 6 months old and never used. I also asked ahead of time if they wanted it and was told yes, bring it in. When I saw that it had been put on the community trash pile, I stopped and asked if it was being discarded. He said yes. I told him if they didn't want it I would take it to someone who did. This was not a cheep item. We loaded it back into my car. I didn't realize at the time that the base of it had been thrown into the dumpster and was no longer with it. Not only did they immediately trash my donation they made it worthless to anyone else. I'm beyond livid about this. They should have not accepted it and allowed someone else to get it rather then just trash it. That is the second time I have circled around only to see my donation being thrown away. I will not be taking anymore donations to this store. That was it for me. Now I have a brand new item that they ruined in the few minutes they had it. Never again

I appreciate the mission of this organization but was greeted by the rudest man (May 11) when I dropped off my donations. He asked what I had and I replied that I had an assortment of things. I had placed some breakable items in small groups to avoid breakage. He became argumentative and threw a large tote at my feet saying I could make it harder if I wanted to or could pile it in the tote. He then stood and watched me unload my car. Never again! I left wondering what I did to make him so hostile but he appeared to be already in a mood when I arrived.

This thrift store pricing is ridiculously high. I went in to purchase some shirts for myself and they are $9.99. That is very expensive for very worn clothing. Hot Wheel car that sells for $.98 at Walmart were $5.00. I like to craft and used beads were $10.00. I saw some bead/hardware cheap plastic storage container half the size of regular store for $3.00. They are twice that size at Walmart for $2.98. My kids needed some shorts but I just went bought them new for about the same. They used to be a great store, but prices have changed so much it not worth shopping there anymore. It’s rather sad for people who shop second hand out of true necessity. Not very charitable for a Christian establishment. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It’s sad to see what use to be a decent thrift store turn into a high priced retail thrift store.
I use to shop here all the time but after not coming for some time, I was shocked to see the outrageous prices today. Used child t-shirt priced at $8.99. Plastic food storage bags that sell at dollar tree for $1.25 were marked at $5.00 here. Pretty much the same thing all over the store.
I’ll be surprised to see this place make it much longer. They’ve gone $8.99 out of their mind.

Great prices Great customer service. I always feel good donating to this place. They have so many ways they help the people in the community. Currently looks like thanksgiving boxes for needy familys. I've been to the one in Lakeland and Winter Haven
