I almost didn't join because of the low score reviews. But man am I glad I did. Everyone is incredibly nice, I have no idea what the other reviews were going on about. The kids club is amazing. They have an organized activity every hour, our daughter loves it. They have a super shallow indoor pool we can swim with her in. They have a ton of spin classes. They just had free pictures with Santa. This place is a no brainer for us.

Iā€™m posting this review because I sincerely hope it reaches the right people in Lifetime Fitness management. Once Iā€™m confident itā€™s been seen and addressed by the appropriate team, Iā€™d be happy to take it down.

Last Sunday, February 23rd, around 4:00 PM, I was leaving the gym with my two young boys (ages 5 and 7) after a typical visit. As we approached the front desk, I realized my phone battery had died. This was a problem because I drive a Tesla, and my phone is my keyā€”without it, I had no way to access my car. I asked a staff member at the desk if they had a charger I could use. (I needed a usbc charger for Iphone 15) He took my phone, said heā€™d plug it in to charge, and I thanked him. Relieved, I took my kids next door to the cafĆ© to grab some food while we waited.

Fifteen minutes later, I returned to the desk, only to be met with, ā€œSorry, we donā€™t have that type of charger.ā€ I was stunnedā€”not just because they didnā€™t have one, but because this employee hadnā€™t bothered to let me know sooner. Iā€™d been right there, steps away in the cafĆ©, clearly visible, yet he made no effort to inform me. Worse, when I asked for help finding a solution, he brushed me off. There were three staff members at the desk that eveningā€”two men and one womanā€”and all of them just stood there, staring at me, fully aware I was stranded with two little kids and no way to get into my car. Not one of them offered a shred of assistance.

I had to call my wife and ask her to drive from home with a portable charger just so I could power my phone and get us out of the parking lot. The staff knew my predicamentā€”I made it clearā€”but their response? ā€œWhen people ask if we have a charger, we just say no.ā€ Maybe thatā€™s a directive from upper management, but really? In a situation this obvious, where a member is visibly stuck, thereā€™s no instinct to step up and help? One guy casually mentioned, ā€œyou can go check with the pool, maybe they have one,ā€ yet none of these three able-bodied employees, standing around on a quiet Sunday evening, bothered to take that five-minute walk for me. The laziness and indifference were staggering.

Iā€™m usually a huge fan of Lifetimeā€”especially the childcare team, who are fantasticā€”but this experience left me deeply upset. I run a company with over 100 employees, and if one of them treated a customer with this level of apathy, Iā€™d be mortified. I made it clear to the staff how frustrated I was, and their blank stares and shrugs made it equally clear they couldnā€™t have cared less. It wasnā€™t just the lack of a charger; it was the complete absence of effort, empathy, or basic customer care that hit me so hard. I hope management sees this and takes it seriouslyā€”because this isnā€™t the Lifetime Iā€™ve come to appreciate.

Gorgeous gym, with absolutely everything you can think of. Membership is a premium membership ($199/person and up) yet there's all the top of the line equipment, different temperature pools, wet/dry sauna, hot tubs, showers, and much much more. New pickleball courts are also available to be used, but bring your own equipment. You can even leave your kids for up to 3hrs where they will be supervised at a dedicated daycare.

I love working out at this gym. There is something for everyone. From the free weights, machines, classes, pools, and so much more. Hands down this is a great value.

The gym is always clean and the staff is committed to you having an amazing experience. I highly recommend Lifetime Athletic.

Personal trainers teach and couch and inspire. Kid get help classes or off the hook life cafe does sampling and the prices are reasonable.. also a healthy supermarket. The showers are usually prestine and the oils are ready for a party minus the alcohol.

Very poor management, dirty locker rooms and dirty pools. Just horrible performance over all by whats considered a ā€œHigh end gymā€ I would not recommend anyone to this gym considering the price and bad experiences Ive had. 2/10ā€¦

Update: Cleanliness has gotten worse. The pools and hot tubs look as if they havenā€™t been cleaned since opening. The hot sauna is constantly down. The steam room smells so bad. The front door has been broken for months. The general manager responds saying he is personally handling things but Iā€™m not really sure what that means since things continue to get worse. Rates keep going up but the money is not being put back into the facilities. This place could be so amazing with the right leadership. Sadā€¦

The cleanliness has really gone downhill. We go in right at opening and you would think it would be on the cleaner side. Everything is dirty and makes the facilities smell bad. The locker room sinks and benches are never clean, steam room is dirty and smells of mildew, and the hot tub area I donā€™t think has been cleaned since they opened. The amount of people is getting out of hand due to all the new construction and it may be time to open another location.

2 full size basketball courts. Kids club is next level. Not many gyms have this bonus feature. Bummed the Folsom location didnā€™t keep not 1(one) tennis court which was the main reason we joined. - turned them all into paddle tennis. . Ya could of kept 1 tennis court!
