We don't normally stay in resorts or themed hotels but did this once for our boys' birthdays. The themes are really neat and creative. The whole room is themed and very neat for kids. Glad we did it once. There are even play places with Lego and duplo blocks in the lobby, one is a big castle themed one. The staff is great and friendly with kids.

If you want to be near the park this location can't be beat! Rooms were decently comfy and for the most part clean. The tub is very old though and needs to be replaced. Our son had an absolute blast and loved the dance party elevator and treasure hunt in the room. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the dining options are where this place falls short. No buffet so we attempted to eat at Skyline and my son's burger was undercooked and I had bone in mine. Management did follow up with us on this, which was appreciated. Breakfast at the pirate hotel was gross, our food came out family style and it was cold and the scrambled eggs had shells in them.

Definitely recommend dining elsewhere when you can!

I want to start by saying that Legoland is a neat place, but the attitude and professionalism of the employees make or break the experience. Unfortunately, that’s where things fell apart for us.

My biggest issue was with the lifeguards at the pool. They allowed my 4-year-old daughter to ride the water slide for 45 minutes before suddenly deciding she was too small. Instead of handling it with any care, they made her walk back down the stairs in tears, completely confused about why she couldn’t continue. When we asked the lifeguard at the bottom for an explanation, he just shrugged and wouldn’t even respond. Try explaining that to a devastated 4-year-old. Now, every time we try to go to a pool, she gets upset, afraid she’ll be told she can’t play. If safety was truly the concern, why wasn’t it enforced from the start instead of waiting almost an hour?

On top of that, the food prices at the hotel restaurants are outrageous. I felt like I needed to file for Chapter 11 after eating there. Sure, they made their money, but at what cost to the guest experience?

Overall, I can’t recommend Legoland, mostly due to the poor employee interactions. A fun place only goes so far when customer service is lacking.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, but it necessitates further cleaning. In my room, I found an empty water bottle beside the coffee maker, open sugar packets, and a loose faucet in the tub. While I didn't report these issues, I took the initiative to clean the coffee maker area and use a cup to bathe in the tub. The breakfast was exceptional, but the gentleman who checked me out required me to repeat 'good morning' three times, as he didn't hear me initially, which I perceived as somewhat impolite. One of the ladies managing the photo opportunity with the logo was screaming at an excessive volume, and it would be advantageous for her to utilize a microphone, particularly given that many of us had just waited in a lengthy line. Having already endured my screaming grandbaby, I was at my limit. Despite the high cost, I opted to make the most of my stay. I brought my grandbabies to enjoy the weekend, and although I didn't lodge a complaint, I believe it's crucial for someone to supervise the cleaning and staff. I was in the pirate side.

We came here right after our cruise. The drive was okay (2 hours) from East to West. The check-in process was smooth and the room was great. Kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay... We just came from cruise so the comparison might be unfair, not it is no where near the level of food quality nor service.

Overall I'll recommend if your kids are under 8 years old. Otherwise there are other attractions near Orlando.

There is nothing better than being able to walk out of your hotel and straight into the park. The hotel and rooms are super cute! Great place for kids, loud and a little overstimulating for adults, lol. Evening activities are nice since the park closed at 5 pm during the weekdays when we were there. The restaurants are very accomidating for ppl with allergies. ⚠️ The elevators in the pirate hotel play a sound track the entire ride, and it's very loud. If you are celebrating a birthday, I do recommend the package. Made our birthday boy feel very special when we walked up to the room door and inside. The pools and watersides are nice and monitored by lifeguards. The grounds are nice with lots for kids to do and see. And since the park and hotels aren't huge, it makes it feel more personal, unlike other park hotels.

We stayed here for my daughters birthday weekend. She wanted a trip instead of a party. We thought this would be perfect. They had everything on site, restaurants, pool, play area, and of course Legoland.
When we first arrived it was great, people greeted us at the door and offered to help load our things. It was our daughters 10th birthday, and while she enjoyed some things, I would say this is for younger kids.

The room:
The concept is great, it was a fantastic theme. Now the twin size blankets that come on the bunk beds are a lot smaller than a regular twin blanket. There is no microwave in the room, they have a communal microwave on 2 or 3 of the floors you would have to use. For the price of the rooms I feel like this should be in every room. I could not heat up my food when my daughter was sleeping because I was not going to leave her in the room by herself. The lego on demand movies never worked for us, they just kept saying your movie will start in a moment.
The first day there was an in room scavenger hunt which my daughter enjoyed. From my understanding this was supposed to be a daily thing, but we did not have room service come by nor set up one the second day. When we asked the front desk about it they just gave my daughter a small lego bag set. Which was great but took the fun out of it.

The hotel:
Is clean and has a great concept. But honestly for the price was lacking. I was a bit upset to find out the pirate hotel and the legoland hotel are one in the same but just different floors, because the pirate rooms were cheaper and we picked the other one because of the amenities it had to offer, but come to find out we could use all of their hotel location amenities. Mini golf was a cute little activity, and the fire pit was nice as well. We did feel like we were left out of something, because the last night we were there we notices scavenger hunt questions posted places and people were going around asking "have you seen Mr Gold" and we had no clue what was going on. The lady the first night in the gift shop was talking about how they close at 9 and she was out of there by 9PM no matter what.

Grandkids had so so much fun!!! Great overall. The hotel could use a little updating. Definitely bring a box for your phone charger, but they do have pod coffee machines. It was very clean the whole time and the kids got a special treat every morning, which was nice. Poole super clean with a nice slide. The kids really enjoyed. The breakfast was awesome. The wait was not too bad we thought Sam was great. Had the best time and customer service very good. It was not cheap staying at the Legoland hotel but I do think it was worth it.
