If I could give more stars I would, I was heading out of the DFW area to go on a vacation when my truck started leaking oil and I had to make an emergency stop which happened to be right outside Laps Auto. Larry the owner without hesitation helped me re-torque my oil filter and topped off my oil and got my truck back on the road.

It could have been very easy for this shop to tell me to wait till tomorrow or to make an appointment before they serviced my truck but they managed to not only prevent me from damaging my truck but got me back on the road incredibly fast so that I could still enjoy my trip. The folks here are the salt of the earth and I would recommend their services to anyone in the Wylie area.

I will never go here again on my mama, the dude Larry I think that’s his name told me that he had an alternator from my Lexus 300 and he said it was the same alternator that was for Lexus he had I said let’s do the Lexus alternator swap that he was suggesting. Fast-forward six months or seven months down the road my car is not working and I checked to see if the alternator was wrong over at auto parts. They said the alternator was perfect, but it was the wrong alternator for the car so I should’ve just kept the alternator that I had or even just bought a new alternator because I paid $2000 never could’ve just paid to get the service that I actually need extra service so I would never recommend anybody to go here because seem like he was getting over people or I don’t know but I’m not for Laps auto etc

Impeccable! Larry recharged my Porsche Panamera A/C and consulted w me on my DIY project to replace the whole A/C system and I saved thousands of $$$!!! LAP is KING!

Great Automotive shop conveniently located between an intersection of communities for which it services. The owner and mechanic Larry who sometimes gets mistaken for a local celebrity named Frank is courteous, fair and always delivers on a great experience and ease of turnaround. This is one of the few auto businesses that does the customer right. I highly recommend using this shop.

Larry definitely delivered through exceptional service. He communicated very well and keeping me informed of the updates and prices throughout the the entire process. I needed my car completed by a specific date and he went above and beyond to make it happen. After having such a great experience we put him to work on our second car! 🤣
