I will never return to this place again. My family and I were so excited for this experience, We usually go to escapology, but we liked the description of Prohibition.
As soon as we entered the facility we waited at least 10 minutes before anyone greeted us and then when they came out to greet us they did not say hi And we're not welcoming. Just told us to fill out the waiver. Goes up a certain way. After 5 minutes we were told to go into another room to watch a video, but the teenage boy directing us in there wasn't even looking at us when he talked to us, so we thought he was talking to another couple. It's almost like they were upset we were there. Once in the room, we didn't ask for a clue for a while but the 3 times we asked for a clue, we waiting literally 30 seconds each time with ALL of our hands up! We unfortunately did not escape but we're right there, I feel like if the attendant sent us our clues ASAP that we would have figured it out. At the end when we asked what we did wrong, the girl didn't even know the answer to decode the bomb. She said she hadn't play the game in a long time and didn't know. I think if you're working there you need to know the ins and out of the rooms. Very unprofessional for the money that we paid!!!!!

Today was our first time going to an escape room and we will definitely be returning. Abby was awesome!! Very welcoming and made the experience 10/10, especially for my younger son!

So, we tried the Lakeland Escape Room for my friends birthday instead of Escapology because we liked one of their themes. This was such a mistake, and I’m writing this so others don’t make the same. The place is run by teenagers who are hardly attentive to the front lobby or even the escape rooms when there’s people in there who need clues (we could hear them screaming and laughing in the employee room from our escape room). We weren’t told until after we paid that the room we chose was broken so part of it would be missing. Then, when we were prompted to read a quote aloud in order to get a clue on the screen, we had to repeat it 3 times for the employees to notice and give us the hint. Then, when we were in the last room, we found a hidden key which would not unlock any of the locks. We raised our hands for a while before someone came to check on us, at which point he told us that the key we found didn’t belong in that room in the first place. So we wasted over 10 minutes being confused and waiting for help. Oh, and the room was in such poor condition that there was a sharp screw sticking out of one of the hangings on the wall. I didn’t want to leave a bad review because I see that they already have a ton of them, so I messaged their account on Facebook and received a “we will respond to your message” automatic response. I NEVER got even a response or an apology, let alone any type of partial refund for the broken room or the bad service. Do not waste your money on this place. I have a feeling it will no longer exist soon anyways…

Really disappointed with our escape room. We did Asylum and there were so many combination locks, which just felt boring after a while. We were given clues - slowly- for things we had already solved, and one of the locks didn’t work properly. When our time was up (we didn’t get close to getting out!), the young lady working there was able to open one of locks my daughter had solved, but after the third attempt. It just wasn’t very fun. We’ve done Split here before, and that one was really good. When greeted it almost felt like we weren’t wanted there. Just not a good experience.

Took my granddaughter. Was our first time. We both had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to try again.

This was our first time ever going to an escape room. We escaped with 1:39 left on the clock. It was so much fun. The girl at the front was very polite and explained everything to us before going inside the room. We will definitely return

Was a very nice experience. The twins were celebrating their birthday. A little Azteca for completing the great escape.

I recommend this experience. I would say more, but you just have to experience for yourself.
