I took a train ride from Clewiston to Lake Placid then back to Clewiston. But while in Lake Placid, I realize that it is the Mural capital of the US.
Man from the historic museum train depot, the multitude of great diners, the brick line streets. I just didn’t have enough time to explore this great little town I will have to be back. Must stop by when in the area. It's all here... brewery, craft kitchen restaurant, ice cream parlor, wine bar! Fun and unusual boutiques. Live music most evenings and at farmers market. Awesome family or date night atmosphere!

On Saturday morning there is a farmers market, with music, food vendors & arts & crafts for sale. There are local shops like Morty & Edna's & Good Vibes Juice bar within walking distance. A beautiful scenery & plenty of fun to choose from! Stop in & check it out!

What a fun day trip to see the murals and learn the town history. Be sure to start with the video and presentation at the Chamber! Nice shops and restaurants.

What a lovely outdoor area with lots to do very walkable I didn’t realize Lake Placid was such a lovely little town. I’ll be down from Sebring a lot more often.
