Laams has to be one of the worst schools I've have attend. Even though I made some great friends here, the education and environment is horrible! I do not want to go to this school ever again. The school is very open where any intruder or fellow student could enter or leave the premises very easily. The teacher's here are very unprofessional at the school, they are more absent then the students! The teachers are very conversational with the students. They act more as a friend than a mentor. They talk very poorly to the students in a rude manner as well, I've personally experienced this in many of my classes! I also feel as the school mostly focus on trying to be better by doing some fun activities and always worried about how the school is represented in looks to others than the actual learning. Even the students there are very rude and disrespectful towards others, always fighting and a lot of bullying. I would not recommended your child in this school at all! As for me it was one of the worst school years ever!

I honestly loved the school. All the bullying makes it great and the students being rude to teachers is amazing. Teachers who miss their work days are a blast! And the rules here are outstanding. I love the bathrooms that are fulled with terrible words on the wall. This school is a 10/10 would never attend again.

The one thing I can say about this school is that the principal is AMAZING!!! When I say she cares about every one of those students, it’s an understatement. She has sat in the back seat of my car with my son and us talking about him doing better and just how great a kid he is. She is understanding and has an open door policy. Not saying the teachers and the rest of the staff r not good, as they r great group of people too. Over all glad I sent my son here and sad to say this will be his last year....

Attended Robotics Night at Polytech Academy tonight with my son and I was very impressed at the work that had been put into it and how well organized it was. Polytech. is doing so much with the kids and I feel this school is really headed on the right path to be something good. All the staff are very engaged with the students and give a lot of there time to make things good for the students. My son is in fifth grade there and has enjoyed this year so much. He has really blossomed at Polytech. Keep up the good work Mrs. Grice, you are really making a difference along with the teachers and staff.

I am a regular parent who has kids who are attending this school as we speak. I love this school it’s been one of the best things that could’ve happened to my son. He learned so much here at Lake Alfred Polytech Academy with Miss Tiffany.
Mr. Williams, staff members and, teachers are wonderful people. It feels like I’m with family when I walk in.
It’s been an honor to have had this opportunity for my kids to grow and, learn here at polytech academy.
My son will be going on to high school next year if the Lords willing.
I’m praying that there’s a high school like this in our area with dedicated teachers and, of course a Mr. Williams and, Miss Tiffany with their persistence & love. (Thank you all so very much it’s well appreciated ) 🙏🏾

I attended here for 2 years now but I think that this school is a BAD school for your children to attend,there is fights after fights there is no discipline and there is WAY too many bullies.The lunch is not good at all.If you get into a fight the staff will not do nothing.The principal is a good person so is Mr.Willams and Miss.thor and Coach.Prill.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR YOUR CHILDREN! I also won’t be attending here next year.

While this school year has been SO chaotic and nuts... I will say is that I'm going miss my 8th grader friends ( well four or five of them ) and my two favorite teachers. I am wishing that Ms Wilson to have a great summer and for the 8th graders to have a fantastic highschool year. Ms Thor have a great summer and I hope that all the 8th graders to have great great summer and a great first day of highschool. Welp I'm going to 8th grade next year, wish me luck!

The teachers i had were great but sadly i had to move. This school is awesome you get more freedom than most schools . Unlike other schools such Discovery academy of lake Alfred we dont act like a prison. People on here say its so bad because they got picked on so WHAT. It happens in every single school no matter where you go. Btw its not a bad school its some bad children.
