If I could give a higher rating I would. The kid I work with is amazing but has struggled to play on his own — he needs someone to pay attention to him and help foster creative play. KidWonder, specifically the Encinitas location (I havent been to another one) is THE only play my kid will play on his own — because he’s not playing in his own — he makes friends here. Every time. The staff here cares so much about fostering a creative, fun, hands on community and experience the kids that there is ALWAYS new fun adventure for my kid to come and find here. I am so grateful to KidWonder and the amazing staff here led by Anthony — they call each kid by their name (how do they know?!?) but between them and the awesome kids that come AND the SUPER reasonable pricing, I just can’t say enough good about this place! Also last thing, I am very picky about who I would want influencing the kid I work with and a) I can watch him the whole time or play with him myself if I want and b) everyone is so great and hands on, if i need to take a call or answer a meeting I know he is in amazing hands. 10/10 recommend

TERRIBLE customer service. I wanted to talk to someone ANYONE about my sons enrollment and they never could help me or call me back. They charged me almost $400 upfront without letting me know and then refused to communicate with me about anything. The classes are pretty meh, no music, no vibe and smells like a sweaty gym. The concept is awesome but the customer service is insane, how are they running a business let this I'll never know. I just had to dispute my credit card charge with my bank because they refuse to get in contact with me. RIDICULOUS.

It’s great. $65 per month for the open gym. It’s brand new and they really treat the kids well. Great alternative to outside parks especially in the harsh SD winters.

This is a beautiful new facility, they have such a fun and engaging space and the coaches and staff are the best! My 5 and 8 year olds LOVE going for their ninja class and open gym. They are currently experiencing issues with the county that are beyond their control, which must be so stressful for them. They are offering account credits but I have rejected them instead choosing to support this family owned local business. We are excited to be back in their gym soon!

My kids absolutely love this place! I've had a hard time finding a place that both my kids enjoy (daughter 9, son7). We've tried gymnastics but my daughter just doesn't feel confident enough there and my son would end up climbing a wall or something else crazy. This place is perfect for both of them, the walls are LITERALLY made for climbing and my daughter could do all the activities without feeling like she wasn't flexible enough. My kids were both able to get into the ninja class, which was a double score because I didn’t have to sign up for two separate classes!!!! They also have open gym days which I’m looking forward to trying. Also the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and was great at keeping my son (ADHD) on track and moving.
Recently they've been going through some permitting issues with Encinitas and they've had to close for a while, during this stressful time for them they've still kept in touch with members to give updates and credits for classes missed. Highly recommend for all kids!

The coolest gym I’ve taken my son to by far. Incredible facility for active kids. New, clean, nicest owner and my son can spend hours entertaining himself which is perfect for me! Worth the registration fee for sure.

Checked the website to see they're open. Show up to see a flimsy sign (hard to read due to the wind blowing) saying they're closed for maintenance with no date on the paper (so couldn't be 100% sure it was for today or not) but kids were inside playing all over the gym and NO ONE was at the front desk. We had walked in and waited at the front desk for more than 10 minutes before someone walked up to tell us the place was closed all while kids were playing. This definitely should have been noted on their website that they were closed down for maintenance.
