Paid a pretty penny for 2 races for myself and my son each which wouldn't be an issue if our 40 min wait didn't turn into over 1.5 hrs and if it weren't for me asking I believe it would have been longer bc ppl who arrived after us raced before us, they forgot. Each race was also stopped numerous times due to faulty karts. Mine broke down in our final race resulting in me having to walk off the track and retrieve another kart. I agree with many others that the karts are very shaky and unstable (bruised the center of my back pretty badly)as well as there being pros given special attention. Staff is very unorganized and disconnected, the food is overpriced and the arcade area needs a revamp desperatly snd the pool table was out of order. There is not much to do but to watch others race and wait. I had high hopes as my 12 yr old was so excited but greatly disappointed.

While down in Austin, i thought I'd give K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts a try as I heard some raves about it from a couple of buddies of mine down there. The hype was indeed quite real, especially with the bundle deal of two races (24 laps as one race is equal to 12 laps). It was a blast racing with my party. The area is quite spacious and has a ton of activities for any one of all ages.

My group visited this location on 3/22/25 for a mini Grand Prix. The overall experience was decent but even with having a reservation for a large group I felt like I had to chase employees around for assistance and information. We filled out our waivers and arrived 35 minutes early and once we got to the counter half of us were informed that we hadn’t “checked in” already so we had to go back to the kiosk and then get back in line behind new walk ins. It would make more sense for the cashier to be able to check in guests that already have an account and signed waiver. It would have saved both parties a good amount of time. The racing portion was great and the young men helping us were fantastic and helpful.

After racing we had to ask where to go next and finally got directed to the reserved room where our pizza had been sitting for long enough to become cold. When I made the reservation is selected 2 sauces for the wings and we were only provided a tray with 1 flavor. We were also supposed to get 1 drink per person but nobody informed us that we had to go to the snack bar to get them.

Once our meal was finished I had to track down an employee for our medal ceremony but he ended up disappearing so I had to go back and ask the person at the snack counter. They ended up being the one to help us, but they had to leave their station unattended while helping us.

The impression that my group left with was that they were short staffed but we made our reservation weeks in advance and were under the impression that we would have a dedicated event coordinator on the day of our event.

Son wanted to go the first time but the second time was all me. Told my friends about our races and before you know it 5 of my friends and my son were back again.
Staff was great both times and the pizza was outstanding! Made sure to tip all the staff since they did such a great job explaining everything and answering a thousand of my questions. A+ and will go back and also recommend to others.

First time visiting but it was extremely fun and we had a great time. The only downside I would suggest is that the on site arcade games are pretty boring and several of them are broken which limited what you could do between races, which sometimes was an hour or more, so just watching the other racers kind of got old sometimes. Good staff though and felt very safe.

We had the most amazing time here and shoutout to manager when we didn’t feel equal to the other racers he offered a free pass to another race !!🙌🏽🥰 10/10 experience my kids definitely enjoyed it and the go karts were very nice and comfortable. All the games in the arcade worked and had my kids at them for hours after racing 🎊Thank yall for making my son and husband birthday a special day !

The karts are electric and not quite as quick as other places I've been to. They are also governed by the track monitors who can cut power during the race - though that didn't happen to me. As a result the races are a little less competitive and more geared towards family fun. But the top speed is definitely high enough to have a lot of fun regardless, and the track is big enough to pass all the slower racers. The monitors are also not overly picky about contact so you can still race hard as long as you aren't slamming into people too often. My main gripes were that the wait was too long and they don't have a text message system so that you can leave and come back when you're up next. Also the facility is a little run down - all their arcades are dilapidated. The karts ran well though.

That all being said, the racing was still a blast, and their package deal where you get 2 races and a t-shirt for like $60 was awesome. The employees are all very friendly and laid back. So if you're looking for a high level of competition you might look elsewhere, but for casual racing fun this place is great.
