Our server was top notch. That’s where it ends. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER. Smelled and tasted funky, dirty, polluted.
We ordered the fish fry. First order took 20 minutes to come. Dry, barely warm and soggy. Second order came 25 minutes after and we left it on the plate. Dining area was dirty. We sat “outside” barely able to peek at the lake. We won’t be back.

Food is great when the right cook is there. The service is always friendly, and I prefer to sit outside vs. the noise from the bar. When the live music is going on, I prefer to be inside, and I can still hear their music, just not as loud. And you can actually have a conversation that doesn't involve yelling.

Food was awesome. We had the smokey mountain chicken, Bobby's chop and all you can eat cat fish. Yummy would return for the food. Service very friendly staff. Abbey was the best. Didn't care for the smell, definitely killed the atmosphere. Smelled like sewage.

The atmosphere was enjoyable, especially the karaoke and the other friendly patrons. Our waitress was friendly enough, but extremely inefficient. We received our drinks quickly, but then waited over an hour for our food to arrive, and it was all very cold! In that hour, we saw her socializing with other patrons and petting a dog out on the patio for at least 10 minutes. Hopefully she washed her hands after that! Very inappropriate for a server if you ask me!!! We think our food was waiting in the kitchen all of that time. Also, we arrived at 5:05and were told that there were no baked potatoes available because they “ran out.” The menu said they didn’t start serving baked potatoes until 4 PM and so that was a perplexing conundrum. After about 45 minutes of waiting for our food, the waitress came back out only to inform us that there were no longer any mashed potatoes left either. Another perplexing conundrum. After realizing that our food was cold, the waitress offered to take already touched and eaten from foods back to the kitchen to have it heated up … I was shocked as that would be violating so many restaurant codes it’s not funny! She then stepped up her game a bit, even bringing us extra drinks that we said we did not want. Then she offered to make us takeout drinks, which we also said no thank you too. This was our first time trying Jaxson’s and we definitely won’t be giving it another try anytime soon. Very disappointing in light of their beautiful website that lead us to think it was a much better place. UGH!!!!!

My family and I accessed the restaurant by lake, which was easy and convenient because we rented a pontoon boat. The atmosphere is amazing as a little dive bar/restaurant it give a slice of lake placid all in one experience. The service from Kendal was amazing. The food tops it all off with amazing options that come out perfect from the appetizers, entrees and desserts.

Our sever was great! Our group of 20 must have overwhelmed the cook as the wait for the food was slower than usual. I had the 6 oz burger, which was a bit dry, the chips were good and crisp. The good conversation and the deep-fried cheesecake made up for the long wait.

Ordered the Basil Pine Nut Pesto Chicken, and it was so tough I could hardly slice it. I did eat one piece, but it was so chewy I'm not really sure how it tasted. I also had a salad, green beans, and sweet potato fries, which were all fine. Service was very slow.

Fun restaurant with live music right on the lake. The staff was very nice. The people there were very nice.

We sat lakeside for our lunch and the vibe was on point. The server was very nice and attentive. She took our order in a timely manner.

The food took a usual amount of time to come out order to delivery; so all good there. The food was served with a beautiful lakeside view. You’re not going to find a better meal for the price.

Giving a four star review because of the quality of the food. While I found the sizzling ribeye enjoyable; there were a few menu items that left a little to the imagination. The fajitas were also good.
