A bright sunny day and Roanoke Oak street is the best possible combination. Jack & Grill just adds on to the combination.

We have been visiting this place for some time now and every-time we make sure to go there on a sunny morning to enjoy to the maximum. We love their outdoor/patio seating. Their brewery serves some of the finest items and their cocktail menu is fascinating as well. Recently I got to know that they perhaps keep shuffling their brewery menu because I didn’t find few the last time I visited.

The service is perfect as well and everyone around just adds on the great experience of this setup. Note: don’t miss their tots.

First off let me start by saying we are no official food critics but when it comes to food it has to be really bad food or service or really good food or service. This was a very surprisingly wonderful experience for both my wife and I. We visited the Jack & Grill in Roanoke Tx on a Wednesday night. We arrived around 5:00pm and were pretty surprised about the number of customers that were having dinner. We realized it was a little after 5:00pm but again this was on a Wednesday night. We were pleased with the wide selection of options from the menu and our waiter did cover the menu and answered any questions we had. We finally decided on the wings and I had the jalapeño burger. The burger was good but let me tell you about these wings. I had the spicy Cajun and my wife had the city slicker. These wings are in our top 5 from anywhere in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The manager Mike explained they are first smoked, then fried, then grilled, then tossed in whatever flavor you select from the menu. But without a doubt the star of the night had to be the loaded tator tots. Hands down the best tots either of us have ever had. These are a MUST try if you like any type of French fry, tator tot type of side dish. Mike then recommended the peach cobbler, this was unique as well and let’s just say it was a excellent way to finish our meal. We without a doubt will return quite often. Thank you to Mike and the entire staff for making a otherwise typical Wednesday night into one we will always remember.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Jack & Grill. The food is great quality and the specials are actually worth coming out for. Saturday and Sunday they have happy hour all day. They have indoor, patio, and bar seating. You will be seeing me welcoming the spring at Jack & Grill

So sick of this place Stop coming here before because of the raw chicken I got now they’re burning the chicken. Why would the waiter think it’s a good idea even to bring this to the table just absolutely ridiculous. Service can’t wait till they go out of business too.

Lexi was an amazing waitress! we got loaded fries and cheese sticks to start, the cheese sticks were probably some of the best I ever had. My girlfriend had the honey bee flatbread and said it was superb, such generous portions we had leftovers to take home to the kiddos.

Sat outside on a busy Friday late afternoon. We had an attentive server. There's plenty to choose from, appetizers, wings, burgers etc. There's a wide selection of beers and a couple cocktails. Overall we had a good time and left satisfied.

I went with friends, looking for a good casual meal. Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Service was good throughout, seated quickly, server brought waters while we looked over the drink menu then drinks came out quickly. The food was more hit and miss. My wife had the eggrolls as a main course and they were well cooked, meaty enough and the sauce had a nice kick. Another at the table had the Skinny Girl Turkey Burger and it too was good. I had the Philly Cheesesteak, which was a sad representation of that standard product. Very little cheese, very little steak. The sauce was tasty, but overall a big disappointment for something so basic. Another at the table had the Reuben, which was also a disappointment. Again, very light on the corned beef and the kraut. Find flavor, but not a good representation of another bar food classic. For sides we had waffle fries, sweet potato fries and the spicy Coleslaw. Evaluation – waffle fries were soft and flavorless, sweet potato fries were not quite crisp enough but good flavor, spicy coleslaw was excellent with a wonderful pepper kick.

The draft beer selection here is very good, so no one had any trouble finding something they liked, and the mixed drinks were creative as well.

Conclusion: Not a great place for a meal, but an excellent place for snacks, beer and sports. Since there are other sports bars closer to my house and equal or better, will not likely return.

We dropped in for a late lunch after running errands. It was our first time in, and we were pleasantly greeted by the staff who were more than happy to seat us outside to enjoy this spring like (79° F) afternoon! The burgers are generous and juicy, the waffle fries fabulously flavorful, and the cocktails tall and tantalizing!
