Great service, great work repairing my phone, friendly people, conveniently located downtown Monterey: what's not to love? This is one of the rare places where you actually get what you came out for--and then more. I.e.: they fixed my phone screen while I waited, yes, but they also gave me a sheet of info on the latest security threat to my computer and what to do about it. So my 5 minute wait was productive! Can you say, "That's what I'm talking about!"? Love that they care about the community, too. Next time your phone or computer breaks, give these guys a call. Let's help this new business thrive as they help us have healthy phones and computers. We need more great businesses like these in downtown Monterey.

Could not have asked for a better experience with Steve. He went above and BEYOND what I had orignally asked for and gave me the BEST deal I could have EVER gotten. He kept me updated and informed while repairing and always kept me in the loop. His experience and extensive knowledge is genuinely mindblowing. If you need any sort of computer/hardware repair don't go to anywhere else but him, seriously. I would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

Steve was a great talk. He was very informative and communicative in our discussions. My baby had dropped my laptop and its display wasn’t working. We took a couple days to find an appropriate solution, as my laptop, Lenovo yoga, was honestly quite hard to find parts for. Still we worked out what vendors could work in an expedited timeline as this was my work laptop.
Thanks again Steve for your wonderful service! Totally recommend his services in dire need of repairs.

Steve is great. I have a physical condition that makes it very difficult to hold things without dropping them and I’ve used his services many times for broken phone screens and an iPad. He has repeatedly given me good advice that goes against his own financial self-interest to help me get the best deal for my needs. He’s a straight shooter and I’ve referred several friends to him. Very quick to respond and very fast repairs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Do not purchase screens from this business. I originally had a 5 star review for this business, but that was before three faulty screens were installed on my phone.
The first screen installed had ghost touch issue’s almost immediately. The gentleman agreed to instal a new screen at cost and I was happy with the resolution to the issue. Then that screen broke being lightly dropped on a table, definitely nothing that had done before to cause a screen to break and had a case on it at the time. I came back in and paid to have another screen installed and the screen has progressively had worse and worse ghost touch issues that were apparent about a month after installation. Every time I brought these issues up their was always an excuse or reason it wasn’t the screen or his fault, but 3/3 screens being bad is definitely a joke.

I called him to warn him that these screens were poor and that my phone failed due to ghost touch issues as my house and neighborhood flooded this week. This caused major issues for me and my family as we evacuated. He blew me off and a “sorry you feel that way”. Gotta be honest I gave you three attempts and it wasn’t necessary the issues I had as much as how they were handled and the absolutely poor customer service I had over the phone.

I would highly recommend using someone else with a bit more customer service and accountability.

Steve is everything all the other reviews say... I was desperate and he took me right in literally the same day I called. He is honest and has expertise. He literally takes time and explains what he has done, and how to treat your computer..He tells you up front what his costs are. (very good prices) I would drive a very long distance just to go to him for my computer repair.
