Courtney and the team were easy to work with and very responsive prior to our arrival. There were no issues at the house we stayed, but checking in and checking out was seamless. And communication before and after the trip was great. I would rent through them again.

We stayed at 1812 Menorca Dr in Marco Island for 18,000.00 a month. Three bedroom house with HEATED pool. Day one pool was so cold we could not use it. Talked to Paul from Horizon rentals and he came over and said he would take care of it. I then talked to the owner of the house and he said he would get right on it. Long nightmare made short no swimming for 30 days but they did get someone out there day before we left. But didn’t fix the pool!! I asked for 25% of our money back but only got less than 10% the big selling feature of the house was the pool because being from Ohio we were looking forward to swimming in January. Needless to say we will not use this company again. The owner was also less than helpful. I would not of written this had they given us a fair amount back. I felt that the pool was 35% of the house so 25% wasn’t too much to ask for.

Pretty underwhelming considering the cost.

The hot tub/spa was faulty for the majority of my stay. When I went *in person* to discuss this I got immediately told off by the front desk lady and redirected to follow the instructions.

We went to the beach after this less than great interaction, only to find a passive aggressive instruction manual on our windshield wipers. Hmm…

Turns out the switch was off. We fixed it ourselves. Funny because we were told that someone would come to look at it. Never happened.

The customer service is a 2/5. Grumpy, and unaware of how to work with international visitors. I have a Dutch phone number but they can’t seem to call it? For 3k per week I’m sure there’s budget for an intl phone plan. There’s a daily flight to RSW from Germany… we’re not all from the Midwest!

Nice place to vacation. Next time will go with a recommendation of a friend and stay away from these folks. Cheers!

I'm an annual renter, and I'm very pleased with the staff at Horizon Rentals. They've been very courteous, helpful and responsive; maintenance requests have been promptly addressed, lease signing was seamless, and all my questions answered in a timely manner. I love my apartment and the location, and definitely recommend them.

We stayed in unit D 403 at Angle Cove. Very disappointed in the unit.
1. Ceiling Fan had no globe coving the light which left expose wire.
2. Kitchen window shade, you can see through into the kitchen and living area we ask to have the shade replace they ask me to do it.
3. D building is along Bald Eagle road the noise everyday was annoying.
4. Refrigerator ice maker did not work when they went to replace it they discovered it did not have a water line.
5. Dresser in bedroom draw would not open.
6. Overall lighting in the unit is poor.
7. The kitchen counter has a burn mark on it from a hot coffee pot being set on it.
7. The kitchen table is in bad shape.

The owner,s maintenance man sent me the below in a text message. I never received any kind of apology for his message below. If he worked for me I would fire him.

My final note to your renter and then I'm done with courtesy communication to him.

But, I've got to admit I'v only had one other person like him before, but he was a paying condo owner from from Russia! They are supposed to be very transactional and aggressive.

Never had this attitude from a renter before.. I am actually wondering if he was trying to set this us up for a discount.

As I've never had this many complaints by one renter. I'm just trying to think about my history and what I can do better but also why this really became what it has become.

I think Horizons and myself both were not as good of inspectors as we should have been..

I am now going to do a photo journal of your place at the beginning of every month I don't want anybody to try take advantage of you or me again.

Not too happy with our Marco house on Salvadore Ct this year. The bad - we had a ridiculous number of ants all over the house - the good - they did come out twice to spray - the bad - too late - we just had to get used to the ants. Also had roaches in laundry room and master bath. Not happy. The management company did compensate us which helped a little. Would have preferred no bugs. Then to make matters worse they kept $20 of our deposit because their maintenance man delivered 3 beach chairs to our house 1 mile from their office. Mind you, they offered to do this for us and we were so impressed they did that. Didn’t mention the $20. We could have easily picked them up ourselves had we known. Just rude not to tell us there was a charge. Overall would not recommend.

We rented a property for a week in Marco through Horizon's rental. Honestly one of the worst vacations we have ever had. First of all the a/c issue. The house was always BURNING inside. The air wouldn't cool below the 80's during the day. Management was contacted and the response was "The heat outside is too much for the a/c to cool down the house, but it should cool off at night". That should definitely be disclosed before renting this EXPENSIVE property to anyone! We arrived on a Sat. with a note stating the pool cleaners would arrive on Mon. during lunch hour. THEY NEVER CAME! Again management was contacted and was told "we'll have someone come in the a.m.". They never came. My kids resulted with ear infections due to the water being dirty. The house was not clean, full of dog hair all over the floor. Which my youngest is extremely allergic so we had to give him meds and do a deep cleaning ourselves. The neighbor was a disaster. We had the cops show up and someone from Horizon because of a complaint the neighbor filed, which we were out on the boat at that time of our "partying". In all I would never rent from Horizon's again nor recommend anyone to waste their money.

Horizons has helped my husband and I have two wonderful winters in Marco. Our unit is beautifully appointed and very clean. The staff is friendly and responds quickly to questions and concerns.
