I'm new to model trains after my Dad gave me his 1952 Lionel O gauge train set. The track he had was old and not in great shape. The young man there that new trains, I think his name is Brandon, was very helpful in getting me set up with new track and we had a great conversation. I will definitely be back on my next trip to California.

Wow! This place has a little bit of everything with a lot of R/C stuff. Please see the 50+ pictures and videos in my review, including the update section.

* Anime stuff and action figures
* Hot Wheels, M2 Machines, and more
* RC airplanes, helicopters, and boats
* RC cars and trucks
* A lot of train stuff, including tracks
* Spare parts for so many hobbies
* Great RC selection
* Puzzles, games, and many toys
* RC Flight simulator in the back (free use)
* Model car kite of different skill levels
* Slot cars and parts, including tracks
* Paint, brushes, polish, decals, and more
* Booklets, diorama supplies, and more

I went specifically to check out some Hot Wheels and some diorama figures. They had more than just Hot Wheels. Everything was organized, and the establishment was clean. The staff asked if we needed help, so I appreciated that.

Near the entrance on the inside is a table with different information people might find interesting. PLEAAE SEE THE UPDATE SECTION for details. I posted some pictures.

If you're into RC cars, then you should stop by. I'm not good at knowing prices for that, so I can't comment on it. But it was a good visit with so much more to see other than what I mentioned. Thank you. Homie-G out.

The owner is not nice at all. She does not acknowledge customers. All the employees are very sweet (Brandon, Chris, Cesar, AJ,and Liam) are the best! They are all so happy to greet customers. We love them and will always return when they are here! Their customer service is wonderful- absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend going to Hobby Town and ask for Caesar. He was so friendly and welcoming. Caesar was very knowledgeable about both Redcat and Traxxas RC short course trucks. My family and I will be back to see Caesar for all of our RC needs. Don't let Liam steer you away, he needs to learn some customer service but he's ok. All in all a great experience, I'd put more stars if I could.

Was recommended this place by a friend and did not disappoint. I came in looking to purchase an rc drift car. Their selection isn’t huge but they have exactly what I needed. After talking to Chris, I made my decision and was able to purchase an MST RMX 2.5 which has been so awesome. Chris was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable with the drift cars as he mentioned he is very active in driving them himself. He even allowed me to try out one of his personal drift cars and gave me some tips and tricks for the begging stages of my drifting adventure. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for anything rc related! Thank you Chris and Hobbytown.

Started coming here at the behest of a friend of mine to get into rock crawler rc trucks. I had an opportunity to look at the selection and test out a truck or two my friend had on their rock crawler layout inside the store. The folks were kind and knowledgeable and helped me better understand what i was getting into without being pushy to sell a new rc truck and a slew of upgrade parts to me. Definitely going to make the drive out here whenever i need anything rc related in the future. Sure I'm newer, but based on this experience they have made a lifelong customer.

So the boys and I embarked on a little adventure on their first day of spring break and decided to make the trek to Hobby Town in Corona. Let me tell you, this place is not exactly around the corner - it's a whopping 198 miles from our house! But hey, we were determined to find some specific items for our Tamiya 4wd cars.

After checking out their website, which boasted a ton of stuff at this location, we were pumped to see what they had in store. Unfortunately, when we got there, all they had were motors. Bummer, right? But fear not, the staff came to our rescue. They were super helpful and friendly, even though they hadn't seen Tamiya parts in years. They explained that the site was run by corporate and they could potentially ship out from their warehouse.

On the bright side, if you're into RC parts, RTR builds, or HO and N scale trains, this place is a goldmine. So while our Tamiya dreams were dashed, we still had a blast exploring Hobby Town's offerings. Who knew a failed mission could still be so entertaining?

I purchased a Rock Crawler RC Truck from Hobbytown, used it for less than 5 minutes and the servo gave out. I called ahead of time explaining what was wrong with it and they told me to bring it in so they could see what they could do. I drove from an hour away for them to confirm that it's broken and just try to sell me a new part. The worst customer service I've ever recieved!
