Visiting the Flagler museum was one of the top highlights of our trip to Palm Beach! We went on a Saturday to catch one of the free guided tours and it was excellent. I was initially a little wary of the entrance fee which I felt was a bit high, but after leaving we totally felt it was worth it. You can tell that the staff truly cares about preserving the mansion, grounds, and furnishings.

I highly recommend coming for one of the guided tours, it took a little over an hour (we had a big group) and it made our experience so much more interactive and educational. Learning about the history of Palm Beach and the family made our trip so much more fun.

A beautiful tourist site. Well maintained, you can do a self guided tour, live tour with guide or just explore. There is a small gift shop inside where you can grab a simple lunch or the railcar tea room for admission plus the cost of the food etc.

I live about 1.5 hours away and have been wanting to visit for quite a while. This museum is absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt as though I had been transported back in time. The beautifully designed rooms exuded a charming European ambiance. The gallery guides were straightforward to follow, and the large text panels provided a wealth of historical insight. It was truly a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Absolutely beautiful mansion dated back to 100+ years ago. Lots to see and explore inside and outside the house. Well worth a visit if you are in the Palm Beach area. Admissions can be easily made by the entrance.

Absolutely beautiful and worth visiting, not sure it's worth the entrance fee.
That said, I am happy a place like this has higher fees so THAT supports it more than public funds.
It is incredible to see the work and craftilsmanship as well as hear the history.
The tour was awesome, though we had to jump in on our own because they had just gone into the first room and the option we were given ion entrance was to join a new tour later.
We absolutely enjoyed this since the weather and date meant many other places were closed. And there is DEFINITELY plenty to see.
It's also... a $30 museum.

The Flagler name is pretty present across the Palm Beach and West Palm Beach area. He was the business partner of Rockefeller (Standard Oil). This was his family’s house, and is a snapshot into the early 1900s. There are routinely weddings here. Amazing view of the bay.

The museum was great size, there was a little bit of a line outside, but it moved fast. It is worth it to join the complementary tour, the guides are very funny and engaging, I personally enjoyed it a lot and it only lasts 30 minutes. The cats definitely add to the atmosphere.
