Spent part of my day taking this shuttle over to the island. Now only was the weather perfect, and the shelling awesome , but the people that run this shuttle are excellent ! I would highly recommend them anytime, go early and you can come back at a time that you pick. They have a dog that’s absolutely awesome and watches for Dolphins on the way there and back . ! highly recommend this inexpensive way to spend time wandering, shelling, fishing or just listening to the ocean. You can bring your own beverages and lunch , or if you’re lucky there’s a food boat selling food. Only problem is no bathrooms unless you go behind a bush .

You can’t go wrong using this shuttle service. The guys were fantastic! They gave us some shelling tips and which way head once on Keewaydin Island. When you’re dropped off, you know exactly where to meet with the option to leave early. The guys do a head count to be sure no one is left behind. It’s a safe ride to the Island and back with Jack standing guard!

For our day trip to Keewaydin Island, we wanted to avoid the hassle associated with renting our own boat. Our experience with this family-owned business was outstanding, beginning with the warm welcome and smooth check-in by Val in the morning, and continuing with the safe transit to and from Keewaydin Island by Captains Matt and Steve. When boat dog Captain Jack spotted dolphins, the crew gave passengers time to watch and enjoy. Thank you for the great experience and regards from Berlin!

Our shell club recently embarked on a truly magical day, all thanks to this exceptional water shuttle boat service. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. From the moment we boarded, Steve and Val made us feel welcome and safe. The boat was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our adventure. Val was knowledgeable and shared fun facts about the marine life and surrounding areas, adding an educational touch to the trip.
Once we reached the island, we were given ample time to explore, hunt for our favorite shells, and soak in the natural beauty.
What made this trip truly special was the thoughtful planning and care shown by Steve and Val. Steve made sure everyone was able to video or get a picture of the numerous dolphins that were playing in the water on the return trip! Whether you are a seasoned shell hunter or just looking for a peaceful ride on the water, this shuttle is an absolute must. We are already planning our next trip with Steve and Val!!

I've used Hemingway twice and I can't believe I haven't reviewed! So sorry. Love these people. Always friendly and always good conversation. They don't rush, and allow you to see the wildlife if you should encounter it on your way to Keewaydin. I highly highly recommend them!

Captain Matt, Jack and crew are top notch!!

These guys are amazing. Matt stopped the boat to allow dolphin watching even though they are on a tight schedule and Jack brought a wonderful atmosphere for the kids and adults. They were truly concerned for everyone’s safety and even. Delayed departure from the island to wait for people who were late. It was very apparent they take this seriously
