Came in to just look and find The Art of War. I have read this book a couple of times but never had my own copy. Well, today we have changed that. I just wish they had a better place to enjoy reading other than hard chairs. Other than that, good experience.

I love this store! I buy a book from here for every birthday, holiday, and life event for my nieces to send along with a gift card. They have an amazing selection of teen fiction books that are in great conditions with all the best and latest titles. I am never disappointed and can always find a book for them along with a birthday card and usually another small items, like journals. The employees here (and also the other HPB on Hulen St.) are absolutely the greatest employees you will ever meet. So kind and helpful. I highly recommend this store. They have a book for every type of reader and just a great atmosphere.

The store is neatly organized, and the associates are happy to help. My cashier today was just lovely. They answered all my questions and even looked a few things up for me.

I hate to give such a low score, really I do... but I brought in 51 dvds, 12 books, and some items were new in box or limited edition!! They offered me... $33.😡 $33, for 63 items. That's less than $0.50 per item. Items I know they are going to price for $5, 6, even $15!!! It took an hour for them to sort them too. I'm sorry. The staff is nice, the place is clean, but it's still the biggest scam since financial aid. 😮‍💨

Four brand new journals with the tags/labels still affixed provided a payout of $1. I’m decluttering my home office, so I was going to get rid of these books regardless, but it is absolutely disgusting how these companies are. Pretty sure they’ll mark each book for $10 each. How gross. I should’ve just donated to a Little Free Library.

Went to go buy some used DVD's.
They have a huge selection and they average $6 each!
A lot on clearance for $2-$3, too!
GameExchange only has Blue Ray DVDs. Half Price is my new "Go-To"!

Clean building, friendly and helpful staff, fair (not amazing, but typical) prices. I've been buying/selling at HPB for years, and I don't know if it's this particular location or if HPB company-wide has changed the way they do things, but I brought in 2 boxes and got $11 back. I've never gotten such a low return, especially since I know some of my books were worth $10+ on their own. Maybe I will try a different location and see how it goes.
