We participated in in the Rotary 5K. We walked around Old Escondido. The Rotary provided everything we needed. The park was nice and clean. Many families and children attended as well.

Great park right across the street from the children's museum. Awesome park with unique features! It doesn't have a kitty playground but it's still a great environment to have all the kids. There's also a train museum or an old train cart for the kids to explore pretty cool and also a giant water Fountain. The graffiti wall is really cool nice and peaceful place to have a picnic or something.

Small park good for reading, studies, play games, and just relax! Grass is well maintained, and there are many homeless people. The actual grape area is closed. The historic landmarks has a working barn, Santa Fe Railroad depot with the train still in tact, tractor, blacksmith shop, historic buildings, museums, large historic tree trunk and the city hall water fountain .

We had a blast at Grape Day park in Escondido. Before coming here, I thought it was just your average park with a slide built into a bunch of grapes. But there was a whole second playground with more swings and slides, a huge lawn to run around on, historical exhibits, and more. None of the indoor museum areas were open while we were there but the outdoor train and tractor exhibits were a hit with my son! He also loved the giant water fountain by the city building. One word of caution, we did see a few homeless people sleeping on the park grounds. Next time we find our way back to this park, we will bring our bikes to ride the path nearby.

We haven’t visited this park since before Covid and everything is still beautifully in tact! We visited during the early morning hours and it was not too busy.

Cute little park with interesting structures. Not worth a long drive but if in the area worth a look. Saw number of homeless folks sleeping in the park during the day time so keep that in mind however nobody bothered us or the kids.
