We have ridden Gondola One a bunch of times during the winter. This was our first summer experience. While it is expensive at $60 per person, we had a great time hiking both uphill and downhill once we arrived at the top of the gondola station. This is definitely a worthwhile experience to try at least once during the summertime.

Visiting Vail and riding the Gondolas during Fall is really amazing. The colors are so awesome. The gondola ride duration is about 10 minutes, but totally worth it. Tickets for the gondola allow you to ride both gondolas, Gondola One and Eagle Bahn Gondola. Video doesn't make justice to the real view.

You won’t regret the views at the top, or the fun educational experience signs they’ve put up along the trails, or the options to climb, ride, play or hike, or just look around at the top. Think I said that part already. There is So much summer offers! But if you tried I’m sure you could ski on the grass. But why! Just do one of the other many things! You’ll be happy you checked it out!

A well constructed gondola. Fits 10 people. Ru a super smooth and stable. First time here in summer, it’s great way to explore the mountain by bike or hike. The ride up here is a treat. Beautiful valley and views of mountains.

If you've got some non-sporting individuals in your group or want to take in the views, this is the way to go! The cost is $61 pp(as of 12.23), which is high but grants you access to Lionshead and Vail Village. Hours are 830-1530, allowing ample time to use the pass to see both vistas. Lionshead has an observation deck once exiting, so if you want to start low, then go high, Vail Village first and Lionshead second.

Beautiful place to ride the Gondola, we took the Gondola one and went up and hiked the fireweed loop, it’s an easy hike approximately a mile hike - 30 minutes , the Gondola ride one way takes 5 mins.
When we finished the hike we reached lionshead Gondola
