We threw a community event and advertised for snow for kids in the area, we chose to rent their snow machine along with bounce houses. They told me the snow machine would blow for 4 hours. It blew for 30 minutes. I Talked with both the manager and the GM of that manager- both were unwilling to make any amends to us having spent hundreds of dollars for only 30 minutes. Their reasoning and specific words to me were “everyone knows a gallon wouldn’t blow for 4 hours”. My response was, well that’s why I asked and your employee told me what I ordered was going to work for four hours, I would have easily ordered more gallons. They said “well she doesn’t work here anymore”. Very shocked at how unwilling the managers were and at their refusal to even apologize. The last conversation ended with I’ll call you back- I said last time your manager said that she didn’t, he promised he would. It’s been two weeks and haven’t heard back. Very disappointed in their care for their customers.

We booked with them for a resident event for tables, chairs , and tents . On Monday they were supposed to arrival an hour before our event that did not happen, we call them and they stated that they were running behind and would be here in 30 mins. We called again as they were still were not here. We asked to speak to the owners and they stated that they were out of country. We will never use this company again so unprofessional and rude.

This is DEFINITELY NOT the same Gigs company I used for my sons’ parties for so many years. These new owners have definitely used the Gigs company name, at least in the Coastal Bend area, to their advantage, misleading potential and returning customers with the promise that they will be hiring a company with a solid reputation of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. And now under this new ownership, unfortunately that couldn’t be further from the truth. I have never left a single negative review for any business before, but this place definitely warrants one due to its lack of common courtesy, lack of professionalism, and flat out dishonesty. After I was promised a refund from one of the supervisors there (Gary) for what ended up being two defective tricycles that I rented for my son’s birthday party on 04/13/24, 13 days later still no credit on my account. I have reached out to Gigs several times to check on the status of my refund but have not received a single call back or email. My wife was fortunate enough to finally speak to someone from their office and she was told in a very abrupt and rushed call that our refund had been processed and that I would be receiving a confirmation email soon after. This was on 04/23/24 and I have yet to receive that email confirming that transaction, and much less the refund I was promised. One thing is to provide poor customer service and another thing is to flat out lie. Yesterday 04/25/24, I finally received a text from someone in the company but when I texted back the reason for my reaching out, yup you guessed it, SILENCE. Since at this point I have come to the conclusion that I will almost certainly not receive the refund for the tricycles I have filed a dispute with my credit card company to receive some credit for this sad experience that I have had with this business. I think another one of their unsatisfied customers had to take the same route not too long ago. I will never again be using this company and I strongly recommend that any person looking at hiring them think long and hard before making the same mistake I and others have made. If you’re looking for a good and honest party rental business for your event, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere.

FYI: The attached pics are of one of the trikes that had all three tires completely flat and off the wheels. The other trike would stop moving forward every 5 feet so we were unable to use it as well. $170 for these two useless bikes………..

We were at a fiesta and it started raining so my son threw away his all you can ride band thinking we were leaving. When the rain went away, went back to carnival, and the heartless manager couldn't even understand what happened. My son had to watch his brother ride the stupid 5 rides. Karma will get you.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The water slide was not installed correctly and I spent two hours trying to make it function so my daughter could still have it going during her birthday party. I notified the guy that installed it what was happening and asked if he could return to help me try and straighten it up. He was already 1.5 hours away and had three installs to do before he could return to fix it. I told him that i just wouldn't use it since several of the girls had gotten hurt by the Velcro on the slide. Every girl at the party had pretty bad scratches down their back. I said please just have someone from the office contact me Monday for a refund and I will still make sure our party is fun for the girls. He picked it up the next day.

After no one from the office contacted me, I reached out to GIGS by phone and spoke to a girl in the office 3 times. Each time she told me that the manger would be calling me which never happened. I tried emailing them and no response. This was all about a month long duration. I finally wrote them on Facebook messenger and they decided to respond. Pretty ridiculous that the only way they will communicate is through social media. We argued about the refund in messenger most of the day until they eventually blocked me and refused to give me my money back. They said I didn't properly inform them of the malfunction by calling the office. (they rarely answer the phone in the office) I told her I could screen shot messages between me and their install guides but she said it would do no good. I sent two pictures of the injuries some of the girls received, still would not refund. She offered to discount a future rental.....i WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

If they had refunded my money for the situation, I would have been a loyal customer forever. I had rented from them several times with the previous owner but this is down right dishonest business.

She blocked me when I asked her," If you had rented a tractor to work around the house and it quit working after 30 minutes, would you pay the full rental even though you had told a company representative it stopped working and they couldn't get there to fix it?"

I had to put a star on here to let me post...If I could put a negative 100 stars I would.

If I could give less than a 1 star review, I would. We booked this company for a youth event at our church. We were promised delivery on the day needed between 2-3pm, as our event began at 5pm. We rented a Bungee Run & Dunking Booth. They didn't show up until 5:15pm, which sadly was after our event had started, and we requested to take the dunking booth as it wouldn't be filled in time to use as requested, and we were told it was all or nothing. We fed the delivery team hamburgers, and sodas and unfortunately our youth event was without what we had promised them. When I called them to request the down payment be refunded, I was lied to and told that they weren't aware of the issue that the items were taken back and not used. The office then called their delivery driver and when they called me back to state that according to the delivery driver, we refused the rentals and were rude to them! I was told that the office would call their manager and return my call. That was on 9/29/22 and I have yet to hear back from them. I am disappointed that they left us no other option than to dispute the charges with our credit card company. Be Aware, that Gigs is not dependable or honest.

Our experience with Gigs Inc. was very good. Their equipment was first class and the drivers and installers were very professional and helpful. I would definitely use them again and I will recommend your company to friends and family.
