They consistently offer the best prices in town and go above and beyond to support their local fan base. The store boasts a diverse selection of collectibles, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Lorcana, ensuring there is something for every enthusiast. Additionally, Gem Mint fosters a family-friendly environment, making it an excellent space for children, and regularly hosts events that engage and bring the community together.

Gem Mint is the best card shop in all of Florida if not the world. I have been a regular at this store for the last three years, and it has never disappointed. The staff and player community are both helpful and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make the customer experience top tier as well as answer any and all questions a customer may have. Additonally, the staff has multiple members that will teach customers how to play anything from Pokémon to Union Arena. Even if you're from out of town, it is worth the drive solely based on the experience, tournaments, and wide selection of products.

But there’s one rule: dap up Brian when you walk in.

Not a handshake. Not a nod. A full dap-up.

I thought they were joking.

I went in last Friday, just wanting a couple of booster packs. Brian was standing behind the counter. He held out his hand. I ignored it, gave a half-wave, and went straight to the singles case.

Dead silence.

The other players stared. I heard one of them mutter, “There goes another one.”

Brian sighed. “Damn bro,” he said. Then he snapped his fingers.

Suddenly reality folded inward. The shop around me dissolved into an endless abyss of darkness.

Overall though i give this place a 5/5 it was the best place to hangout in deland. My only regret is I forgot to dap up Brain, now l’m permanently banished to this hell please send help I really wanna go back to cracking packs at Gem mint.

Andrew & his guys are super nice & welcoming. Knowledgeable about every single product they have. They provide you with the feeling of a family environment & a truly good time. The shop is nice and they are energetic people I can tell they like the job but only thing I hate is the pricing. As cards get harder to buy and the value of them keep rising …the rate they buy at keeps dropping. They are the lowest paying shop around which would be at 50% for cards $10 and up doesn’t matter if it’s a $100 card. Crazy cuz on the phone she told me she would give me $60 for a $100 card then when there she only gives $50 and said she never said that when we cleared it multiple times on the phone 🤦‍♂️ i could’ve went across the street and got $65 or trainers backpack and got $75 …. Only sold cuz they were close to me and had to be somewhere . Sucks but if this shop did better on prices or didn’t lie on the phone about what they buy for then it would be a good shop . It’s clean and looks nice can’t take that from them and they do give aways for players … but again that buying price is the lowest in central Florida most shops start at 60% buying 70%trade in.

Andrew and his guys took care of my wife and I always showing us love since the first day I walked in with some of my guys from work I’ve felt at home great vibes and customer service knowledgeable about every product in there store yesterday went just to hang out decided to rip a few packs with the wife and ended up hitting one of my chase cards only spent probably 35$ one of his guys has the hottest hands in town hahah thank you again for everything
