Stopped here for the first time on a Friday at 6 p.m., and the place was packed. Short wait for a table, but quickly waited on by Allie. Ruby had the butterflied shrimp with a salad and mac & cheese. I went with the usual French Onion Soup, Prime Rib medium rare, and a loaded baked potato with a side of sautéed mushrooms. It seemed to take a bit longer for the entrees to come out, but that may be because of the negative entertainment distraction: a young girl nearby who was noisy and standing on the table at one point.
The Hop Life draft from LaBelle Brewery was excellent, as was the food. I liked that the bread in the soup was cubed, which made it easier to eat.
We will be back!

Keep in mind that this Golden Corral is not the buffet you're used to. It is a steak house. The food was excellent. We had apps, entee, and dessert. The sirloin melted in your mouth. I got a bad cut of tenderloin, but the manager made it right with us. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Wanted to try this place out during a recent visit to Lake Placid. Seen where Golden Corral was trying out a new concept restaurant and this was the only one so far. I liked the inside and decor, thought it looked good. Went during lunch, the menu was decent and the prices were fair. Got the meatloaf, which didn't blow my mind, but was just as good as any I've had before. All three of us were pleased with our meals and had leftovers to take home.

It was good, I never been before and was expecting it to be like a buffet type Golden Corral but is the only thing that disappointed me a little. Otherwise everything was good

Had dinner tonight at Golden Corral for the 1st time in a while. The salad was amazingly crispy and fresh! And our steaks were superb! So glad we stopped in for dinner. Extremely pleased! Service was great too.

We had 2 great dinners! Filet was awesome. Prime Rib was delicious. The thick cut was cooked perfectly.
Maddie was very attentive and took great care of us.

Stopped in for dinner tonight for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised as it was not what we had expected. Food was very good and cooked just right. Great two for one margaritas and our waitress Haley was a sweetheart. Very attentive and she checked on us regularly even though it was during a busy time. Will definitely be back again.

We had an amazing breakfast experience at GC Grill House by Golden Corral in Lake Placid while visiting from Miami! Our waitress, Jen, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone. The mimosas and Bloody Marys were the perfect touch to start our day. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic breakfast!
