Full of all kinds of old school consoles and new ones and a variety of plenty of games. Many different accessories for your games also. They also have a giant selection of dvds. A very clean, nice and friendly atmosphere there!

An absolute gem of a store! Tucked away in Madison, Alabama is a treasure trove of goodies at Gamers Paradise.

Inventory: 5/5
- Great selection of current and classic video games, as well as a huge inventory of replica weapons/props, plush toys, and memorabilia.

Value: 4/5
- Most prices are right around current market value. You might not find too many crazy deals, but you definitely won't get ripped off.

Location: 4/5
- This shop is a little hard to find from the main road. However, once you're inside, the organization and store layout is absolutely top notch!

Overall: 5/5, especially due to their wide selection of gaming collectibles and fun extras like gachapon machines and cold drinks. If I ran a local game store, this is exactly the kind of vibe I'd try to achieve. Will definitely be back!

I went to Gamer’s Paradise a couple months back with a ps2, stack of basic ps2 games, and two hard to find and highly sought after Gamecube games to sell. I explained that I wasn’t expecting much for the ps2+games but knew that the GameCube games were worth some money. I had spent a week or so searching current market value, including what each had sold for in the past 1-2 months. It was Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and SuperMario Strikers, both with the cover art and inserts, minimal usage wear on the discs. I waited for over an hour for two guys in the back, who I never saw, to test the games and ps2. I was first offered $60 for all of it via the younger guy working out front. I told him I wasn’t interested in that offer and he asked what I would want because the guys in the back were very interested in the Gamecube games. I told him the prices I had seen online and that I wanted close to that, obviously less so they would have room to make money, but close to. He came back after talking to the guys in the back and offered me $80. I declined again, telling him i would be better off to sell them online. He told me that the guy in the back said, “just because they’re posted for sale for that much doesn’t mean they’re selling for that much.” I took my things and left. I sold both games for $270 in less than 12 hours after posting.

It felt to me like they were trying to pull one over on me. And the condescending comment about how much they’re posted for vs selling for was completely unwarranted. I had specifically done research based on copies in the same or similar condition that had already sold. A friend of my husbands recommended this place and told him they’d give top dollar. Apparently this isn’t true for women or whatever “type” they decided I was that made it okay to talk down to me without even showing their own faces and act like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I would have loved to shop here but I won’t step foot back in this place.

DO NOT TRUST THEM
It's been two months since I gave them my Nintendo Switch for repair. They said 2-5 weeks for repair time. Every week they say it will be returned apparently because the charger is the problem, but still nothing has been returned.
I would go directly to Nintendo next time for repairs.

Nice store nice selection of used items! They try to make customers happy. Location is hard with traffic on Hwy 72. I would give 4 stars, but trade and even checkout process is so slow. I have had to wait upwards of 1 hour for owner to come in or be contacted. They won’t let you use the bathroom while waiting too. Next time I will call ahead.

Recently they are simply matching GameStop prices. Trades can take a while. Seem to have upped the prices from their FB posts. Don’t want to come down a little on things for customers that have done a lot of trades/purchases. If they have something you want that is rare/ vintage go for it, but if you are dealing with modern items don’t bother.

Edit: I'm 95% sure that they reduced their exchange credit since the last time I was here.. Definitely made it way too low to be worth even trading things in here. The selection is still good though if you're looking to get an older game quick.

Original review: The best used game store I've been to in town. They have a really large selection of lots of different types of items. Their trade in credit is the best around. I'm happy to trade things I here and pick something else out since the selection is so good.
