This shop is just flat out horrible. Prices are way over market and the owner does not seem to negotiate anywhere close to market value. Went in to buy a item seen on their IG and the person at the counter had to call and message the owner for every price negotiation. I even offered to trade in some games I had that would be able to go towards the item, and still turned it down. Not sure how they are still even open. No wonder why there are tons of other retro games in the San Fernando valley that are much better. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Looks kinda sketchy but not bad at all. But like many of the reviews say their prices are wayyyyy above others. Cheaper on eBay. But they do have a lot of good stuff if you wanna over pay lol
2 stars because service was good.

Owner changed the price of an item that I was ready to purchase. Will not be back, I already thought this place was overpriced

Just don't price your stuff if you are going to make up a price at the register

The prices in this store match and exceed Ebay prices..

I had been going to this store for Nintendo Power magazines.
The magazine was $4.99 on the newsstand originally.
When I've purchased issues from this store the prices have gone up every visit.

On my first trip they were between $15 and $20
On my 2nd trip they were all $20
On my 3rd trip the last issue was $25

I would recommend steering clear and just buy on Ebay at least there's purchase protection

Best game store of all time! They have a huuuuuuge selection of games and consoles it’s crazy. From old to new they had it all. Me and my buddy were actually on that hunt for a ps vita and we found with them at a great deal so we got 2 of them!! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and just care of their customers for sure. Will be going back again to get some stuff from you guys for sure!! I

They fixed my vintage NES and helped me with several games that weren't working. It's a good place to find retro and hard to find games. Everyone who works there is really nice.

Store was being remodeled so I can give them the benefit of the doubt but they weren't organizing in alphabetical order which is annoying since most retro stores do and they only take cash which is BS and I wasn't prepared for. Prices are higher than other shops in LA too. I recommend World 8 and Game Realms over this store, but I wish these guys the best and hope their store does well. They did have a good, varied selection over all platforms and a ton of systems in stock too, but it's just weirdly organized. On the plus side, they were nice enough to resurface all three discs I bought at no charge since they were in kinda rough shape.

Terrible place to buy and sell games. Offer little to nothing and marks up price above market value. Proceed with caution, they also post on OfferUp with ridiculous prices

Made an accidental purchase for a GBA SP charger that I didn’t end up needing (I already had a Japanese charger and thought I needed a USA charger, but turns out they are the same). Yes, my mistake, but what sucks is they wouldn’t offer a refund although the purchase was made only a few minutes before trying to return. They only offered store credit. Problem is all their retro games are overpriced and are, for the most part, in poor condition. Everything can be found for WAY cheaper on eBay, which is sad. Too bad, because not many retro game stores left, but places like this are the reason why. Save time and a lot of money, and purchase online.
