I went to the store today at 1:30PM to purchase some boxes of play boosters because I like to support local businesses for TCGs.

I was “helped” by a man named Mike, maybe 5’6” with brown hair. He seemed kind of annoyed to be there but that’s fine. The part that blew my mind was not when he accidentally overcharged me by $300, not that I had to be the one to catch it and ask for my money back, but the fact that there was no hint of remorse or apology when I pointed it out.

He seemed almost frustrated that I noticed the mistake. He offered me a cash refund and I went on my way.

Including a photo for proof of purchase. I hope the owner sees this, shouldn’t be hard to look into the transaction history and find evidence that what I included in this review is true.

My first time to this shop and this was my initial analysis.

The Good: If you are looking for a probably one of the best stocked MTG shops in the country, you've found it. They have an incredible selection and an easy to order singles process outlined on their website. I ordered over a dozen cards after close and picked them up shortly after the store opened the next day. They have a singles purchase deal when you buy more than $25, so be sure to pad the list to get the chance at some pulls.

The Bad: If you are interested in a warm and inviting experience, this isn't the place. This is a place to do business, so be prepared for the tone. There is a snobbish/hurry-up n' buy vibe. This typically is what sets really good card shops apart from all time great card shops. I brought my family in because my shop back home usually welcomes newcomers and children. This wasn't the case.

All said, I frequent the front range and will definitely be back minus the family and just all business.

I had a great experience shopping here. I stopped by to look at their vintage game selection and was pleased to see a good amount of gameboy, GBA, and even 3ds games.

Along with that, they had a great selection of Pokemon cards, amongst other card games! The prices of the individual cards seems to be on the higher side, but all of the packs and boxes were reasonably priced. Check em out! The staff was very friendly too which is always nice in game stores.

Great cards. Great space. Great employees. Great prices (packs are much cheaper than Target and Walmart)

I grew up a pokenerd. I loved the cartoon, I loved the games, and most importantly I loved the cards. So when my son came of age to get into Pokemon I don’t want to say I forced him to like the cards but I did strongly suggest he get into the hobby.

We started by buying packs which is pretty much like gambling then we found game heroes.

They have an amazing selection of holo foil cards in binders that range from 50 cents to 9 dollars and it’s perfect for my son to build out his shiny paperboard collection.

They also have all sorts of packs. Old sets, new ones and tons of Japanese. And the prices for the packs are much lower than big box stores.

Finally the second Friday of every month they have a huge Pokemon trading event where adults and kids come together to show off what’s in their binders and openly trade with each other. It awesome to see and experience.

So if you’re looking for Pokemon cards, magic cards, sports cards, Disney cards and more come here versus the big box stores.

Had a great experience at Game Heroes today. Super fair and honest trade policy, and picked up some Pokemon singles I’d been after. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to this shop for a little over a year now and overall it’s a great place for cards. They have a good selection of Pokémon, Lorcana, Star Wars and Sports cards (that’s all I collect, they have a ton of Magic too). The employees are usually helpful and welcoming, occasionally you can tell someone is having a bad day, it’s retail and I give some slack there as long as they’re respectful. I would say their prices are better for sealed product compared to singles. Most card shops put extra premium on singles but, there are some good deals. Their trade list online doesn’t update that often so I’ve had instances of brining in trades and they said something different than what was listed on their website, would be nice to have the website match what is in store. Not quite a 5 star experience but, overall a nice store for the hobby.

Price Gouging anyone? Definitely need to rehire some people with knowledge about the Hobby. I was shocked when I realized how much I was overpaying. Don’t do what I did just google search what you wanna buy and how much places sell it for and I bet you it won’t take you here!

Alright I've just had my final negative experience this place to seal the nail in the coffin to leave a review.

I'll be honest, there's some positives about this place. They have everything, but their only positive is outweighed by the fact you can go to a variety of online retailers that also have extensive inventories. If you need something NOW for whatever reason, I guess this is a good place to go.

Be prepared though. Their prices are high, their singles buy/trade policy is insulting, and it seems like every worker is trained to be short, uninterested, and vaguely rude.

I try to be objective in reviews but this place is truly more of a feeling which makes this subjective.

I have spent LOTS of money in this store, but have never tried to trade cards in. I learned their policy today and that cemented that I will never be back. Go somewhere that has a fair trade policy that actually supports the community.

This shop is basically a scalpers' ebay shop as a storefront. They aren't in the culture, they don't "care" about the products their selling. The attitudes in there are honestly reminiscent of Los Angeles area sneaker re-sale shops. Snobby, pretentious, buy something and GTFO.

"Nah I don't play this shit I just sell it" type of attitude.
