Open till late (about 9 pm) and accessible after work. Plenty of gaming clubs meet here, especially magic and miniature war games. A fair selection of used and often vintage games as well. A good place to meet people for a hobby few people can even stand to hear me talk about. In fact perhaps my favorite detail, there are even occasionally and surprisingly some pleasant enough looking women participating

I was introduced to this store by some friends and wow, I am impressed. They've got tabletop games and dice, they've got miniature combat game stuff, They've got a glorious collection of board and card games.... there is even a pre-owned game section with some pretty great options if new games are out of your budget.

There are also tables for playing your own games or one you borrow there. No one made us feel even slightly unwelcome for playing several hours worth of games.

It's clean to include the bathroom and the music is great but not too loud. The staff know their stuff- I had a few questions about stock and they could answer without looking for most of it.

10/10, this should be your local store.

I was in San Diego on business and decided to stop in and shop at game empire. I had a great time, they have a huge selection of card, boardgames and tabletop games. Cliff was fun and entertaining to talk to and he really seemed to care about both his business and his customers. Top notch! Would visit again. Monday and Tuesday they have board game night for newbies from 6 to 10. Check it out!

This place is a local gem and was already busy the moment they opened. It's a great resource for the gaming community with a robust selection of cards and table top gaming supplies as well as RPG books. The owners were fun and knowledgeable.

A trading card game that should be MSRP $40-50 for a box is priced at $120 at this store. The price is inflated, yes, but a store such as this should NOT follow online prices. Pretty pathetic. Also selling a single pack for $10 when its really worth about $5 MSRP. Bad service, you lost a customer.

First time at this store a couple weeks ago. Had a good selection of multiple styles of games. One of the best used games sections I've seen. Employee wasn't the most engaging (he had a headset on and was playing a game & talking with someone unless directly contacted), which was a bummer because we were hoping for some recommendations/insights, but he was friendly and efficient when we were checking out. I'd like to go back again.

Big store with lots of tables to play. I came in looking for 40K sets and the selection was pretty sparse. Alot of empty shelves and some older and more oddball boxes. The cashier was blasting music in the front and didnt bother to look up, greet me, or ask if I needed help. Unlikely to return for shopping but possibly to play at the tables.

Got told off because I had the audacity to ask if they had cards from older PTCG sets. Prices here are always higher than all the local shops I’ve been, let alone TCGplayer. I had been here off and on before and after the pandemic but I’m never coming back.
