Went in looking for Pokémon games and consoles to add to my collection. Was able to pick up this Game boy Color and Pokémon Silver. The customer service was phenomenal! The staff member that helped me made some jokes, answered my question instantly and even turned the system on/ran the game to show it all worked before I purchased it. Been here many times in the past as well growing up. Definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

Times I wished Google had a zero or negative star option. I went in with my husband with the intention to add something to our collection. We stumbled upon a “new” Pokémon gameboy color in the box. We did not ask how much nor did we care but simply asked if its new/sealed or opened? The owner gave us a half ass answer “it’s basically new”!? So my husband then asked to see it out of the display to examine it. As interested we were, we would buy it. The owner said No, I’m not taking it out. You want to see it buy it. Without any clarity of the gameboy being new or not, only seeing the face up & an unprofessional & rude owner, we walked out. Don’t ignore all the reviews of this place/staff being extremely rude. It does NOT fail. The owner was speaking about selling this place and complaining about how much time it takes from him, without caring about the people inside over hearing.

So recently my wife got me a SNES system for Christmas, so I could play my old games that I still had. Pulled out my Donkey Country game and it was pretty dirty, but not only that the game would lose all it's save progress. The owner of the store was there and cleaned and soldered parts of it and said it was in the house and replaced a controller I bought from him that wasn't working right. Was very pleased with the service!

Used to love this store, felt at home going in there. But the owner would profile people if they just wanted to look and not spend money blatantly insinuating they're trying to steal from the store just like he just did with myself and my girlfriend.

the store has a very cool selection of games, consoles, and even action figures if you’re into that sort of thing (i sure am.) however the staff are often condescending and rude to me and treat me as if i don’t know what im talking about. owner is kind of a jerk from what i’ve seen. instead of taking criticism and apologizing politely he gets offended and fires back. prices are also very high for some reason, i paid double compared to most listings on ebay for a NTR-001 nintendo ds. i cant even believe i’m saying this but i have better experiences shopping for retro games at gamestop. owner, if you’re seeing this and choose to make some snarky reply, you’re proving my point to everyone else reading this.

Store has potential with a great selection of multiple things but the staff is very unwelcoming they will insult you and your trade in items you bring in brought in a console with 5 controllers including one sought after retro controller and a stack of game which one of the games they sell for 40$ alone and was offered 40$ trade the owner/manager is very rude and has insulted multiple customers and I will no longer be bringing any business to a place that insults their customers that they blatantly deceive and rip off if you want my advice list your items on mercari or Facebook marketplace it’s super easy and you will get around 80 - 100% of what your item is worth compared to the 40% they offer GameStop was going to give me more trade credit then them if that helps you understand

There should be a zero star option. Employee refuses to show the condition of a used item unless you buy it. Then once you pay for it there’s no returns/ exchanges EVEN IF THE WRONG GAME IS INSIDE THE CASE!! Owner is a fraud

Excellent game store with a huge variety of figures! POPs, great selection of Godzilla merchandise, and every kind of video game you could ask for!! Oh yeah lots of Superheroes too!!
