We attended a hosted event for a birthday party here and it was great! Veronica taught us all the games and managed the rules for us. We had so much fun playing games without worrying about knowing all the logistics. We had Chinese food catered in from a place a few doors down and it was perfect.

It is an inviting place with a good selection of games and our 3 year old played for 3 hours with the big selection of toys they had in the family area. It was so chill and the space was perfect for families to play and enjoy games together.

Their pricing is also really reasonable and all the staff is really nice.

I had a 5th Anniversary party for my daughter and her husband at Galaxy Game Cafe and it turned out to be the perfect place. My family all love gaming, but they were all surprised I selected it for the party. Melisa and her staff set up all the tables as we had planned and helped me and my family decorate. We turned her cafe into a beautiful space for my daughters party. She had started the plans for her wedding in 2019 for Oct 2020 and then COVID hit and she had to postpone it. She finally decided to go to Courthouse to get married. I wanted her to be able to wear her wedding gown. My family along with Melisa and her staff really made it look beautiful. We made all the food and Melisa helped up set up area for the food and drinks. My daughter was late, of course, so guests were allowed to mingle and look at the games and her displays. Some family members even played a game while waiting. Once my daughter and family came, the party started. Melisa and staff helped throughout the party and helped clean up during and after the party. They were awesome and the party was fantastic and all the guests really enjoyed themselves. Of course, a number of my family and dome of the guests talked to Melisa and staff about coming back to the Cafe. I hope they do because it's a great place and I would love for Melisa to receive the business. Thank you once again Melisa.

We are so happy to have this cool game play space in our community. In just a few months we’ve already learned to play many new games and made new friends! The game selection is amazing, and the seating area is spacious and comfortable. The owner, Melisa, is so nice and loves to connect with customers. Our kid loves the kids play area, with toys and games galore. A great place to unplug and hang out with friends and family!

This place is so much fun. Hosted a birthday party! They had space for littles to play. We brought in food - Chinese from the place next door. We had a host describe games for us all to play and we had a blast! Such a great idea! The picture is of the space we used. The place is huge!

My husband celebrated his birthday recently with an all guys board game night and he mentioned it was great! They had their own tables with plenty of space to play. The staff set their games and even suggested other party games and had their own host to walkthrough the game. Overall, amazing experience and highly recommended!

The staff at Galaxy Game Cafe were very hospitable and welcoming when my partner and I attended their 2025 Valentine's event. Tables were set up to resemble a dinner table, equipped with table light, mini breadsticks (crunchy!), scattered petals, and tablecloth. My partner and I were impressed with the collection of games they had available (especially for the family demographic with children-friendly versions of Everdell, Catan, and more), as well as the two-player selections for the event (Sky Team, Mandala, Splendor Duel).

The hosts were amicable and engaging, getting to know patrons and the games they were playing, and we got the sense that the owners and staff are interested in their community, not just as customers, but as people.

The only drawback for us personally was the travel time from our location, but it was worth the drive, and we are going to be back again to try out some games from their collection. Heavily recommend this store to anyone who lives closer than we do, especially if you're looking for a sense of community and belonging.

Place is awesome. So many games to choose from and the staff is very friendly. Went with my son (1st grade) and a few of his classmates. They have a whole section with toys and kid games to keep them entertained and it's positioned in a way to allow parents to grab thier own board games and play near by to keep an eye on them. Well thought out.

I love Galaxy Game Cafe. I’ve brought many people to enjoy the cafe together and everyone has a great time. The owner Melissa is so friendly to everyone, she helps everyone feel comfortable immediately. I work with parents and children. One child wasn’t able to have fun with her dad at any other place, but when we came to Galaxy Game Cafe she was able to relax and have fun with him for the first time, so we’ve kept coming back. The space is clean, nicely lit and has well thought out areas of play and a fabulous collection of games and toys.
