Having just enjoyed an early lunch at the Fair Oaks Coffee House and Deli just down the street, and finding our car blocked temporarily by a delivery truck, we stumbled into the Feathered Nest...What a serendipitous experience for us...wonderfully nice people there, full of art, and handpainted greeting cards...
We enjoyed watching an on-going art class of happy and friendly artists.
Talk about a positive and pleasant ambiance!! Yes, we will be back...the art is beautiful, fairly priced, and the people welcoming and kind...just a gracious place to spend some time!

I've been wanting to take a watercolor class. Just happened to stop into the Feathered Nest last week during a class. Came back today with a friend. What a fun and relaxing time! I think I'm going to be a regular.

What a beautiful display of older pieces of furniture and unusual pieces to decorate your home, old dishes, one of a kind items etc. Very interesting, don't go if you're rushed, there is too much to see and contemplate. It is just a delightful experience to wonder through this well displayed and interesting shop. The artwork is incredible, every medium, every size, and if you can't find it here, maybe you need to join a class and create your own.
