This has been a horrible experience for me. About a year ago I had a business and making some money. After I lost my business and my full time job. I was out of work. I called and tried to explain to them that I have no money to pay their monthly fees. I put down $500 as down payment. And roughly about $100 a month just to save some money. I got the package deal and it was a few thousands of dollars in total. They told me there's nothing that they can do about it and I have to pay. Or settle for almost all the originally fees. Fast forward 6-8 months later or so I got a letter stating in my email stated that they will send my unpaid fees to a collection of a third party. Or settle the amount and save me about 2 hundred dollars. What a joke this company is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT SIGN THAT CONTRACT. JUST PAY MONTH-TO-MONTH EVEN THOUGH YOUR PAYING A LITTLE BIT MORE EXTRA. I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A CONTRACT OF BUYING A CAR OR A MAJOR MORTGAGE DEAL. I'D RATHER TAKE A HIT FROM MY CREDIT SCORE THEN TO PAY THIS. 😤 Just kick a guy when he is down. I felt duke 💯 Yes, I will complain to the BBB also😎 Hope to help others avoid this mess.

I joined E&A in December of 2023 because I really wanted to make friends and meet quality men. (I was not finding what I was looking for on any of the dating apps and so I knew I needed something completely different.)

Since joining E&A I have meet so many fabulous people and have participated in a ton of really fun events.

I whole heartily recommend E&A because of the caliber of people it will exposes you to and the quality of events you will get to experience.

Someone named “Destinie” contacted me to onboard for this organization a while back. We set a time to talk, then she repeatedly texted me. I was having an extremely hectic day and told her I was busy and would like to please continue the conversation tomorrow. She didn’t stop texting, demanding that I immediately answer a series of questions, and kept asking if I wanted to have a phone call about the questions, text, or email. At that point I was in the middle of a meeting which required looking at my phone to review documents, while “Destinie” continued to text and demand that I answer the questions or get on a phone call. For a singles organization. It was absurd.

When the meeting was finally done, I explained to her how stressful this had been. Then she doubled down and said that I should have expected to be put through this, and that she had given me so many ways to engage (text, email or phone). And added that “all 60,000 of their members have had to do it” so why should I be protesting?

Are you kidding me? This organization hired a staff member who couldn’t wait a matter of hours to address a clearly nonurgent process, who wouldn’t respect my explicit boundaries, and tried to challenge, invalidate and belittle me when I pointed out that this was stressful. As that was my only exchange with Events and Adventures, I would not recommend this organization.

Their other reviews affirming that they keep paying members in undesirable contracts paint a picture that this company seems to have a culture of disempowering customers. I sincerely hope they can learn better business practices and be a force for good in the world.

This organization is so fun and definitely worth the investment. I moved to SF and didn’t really know anyone so I joined and I made a bunch of new close friends and a ton of cool people. They have events almost daily and even virtual ones for those who prefer that. I am going to sign up again when my membership ends because the fun and the friends and the memories make it all so worth it! The hosts and organizers are respectful, inclusive and very kind. I haven’t had any problems with anyone bringing drama to the groups either. It is 100% fun! Come join us!

I'm someone who loves to dive into new experiences and have a great time with friends. Unfortunately, the hustle and bustle of life often makes it challenging to plan get-togethers. Before joining E&A, I frequently found myself at a loss for exciting social opportunities unless I went solo, which wasn't quite as fun. Ever since I became part of this fantastic group, my life has been a whirlwind of ziplining, hiking, biking, camping, bar-hopping, and so many more exhilarating activities. What's even better is that I don't have to worry about organizing anything – I simply need to show up and enjoy the ride. Being someone who usually takes charge of family outings and friend hangouts, E&A has given me the incredible gift of participating in awesome activities without the stress of planning. I am beyond grateful to E&A for all the thrilling adventures and the incredible people I've had the privilege of meeting along the way!

E&A is an amazing club to be a part of. Before being a member of the club I had no idea how many things there were to do in a local area that I've lived for many years. I've met wonderful people while being a member and and created some really great memories. If you're looking for a new way to meet people in a fun environment E&A is a great way to do it!

This 2023-2024 New Year’s party was pretty awesome. Great venue, great selection of food & drink, great people to chat and hang out with. This is rather usual with their events I’ve been to and would attend a lot more if not for being busy with work and other commitments.
