I am from Bangladesh and started my training here. Epic Flight Academy is an excellent place for flight training! The instructors are highly experienced, professional, and always willing to help. The training environment is well-structured, and the aircraft are well-maintained, making every flight session smooth and enjoyable. The staff is friendly, and the overall experience has been fantastic so far. If you're serious about becoming a pilot, this is definitely a great place to train. Highly recommend!

I was just reflecting on how Epic Flight Academy became my son’s choice, and it’s such a powerful memory. My son and I took a road trip to Florida to visit flight schools. After spending three days touring different schools (we honestly had no idea what we were doing, as this was a new path for our family), each school seemed to have its pros and cons. As we made our way back to Texas, we had three more schools along our route. The first stop was Epic Flight Academy, where we were greeted by Kristina. She gave us a thorough tour of the school and offered a clear understanding of how it operates. It felt even more meaningful knowing that she was sharing her first-hand experience with Epic, especially since she’s also training there.

When we were leaving, I remember the moment so vividly—Philip was absolutely glowing when he said, “I found my school.” There was such a palpable sense of excitement and certainty in his voice that I’ll never forget. I felt the same way, and needless to say, we didn’t make the last two school visits.

Now, a few months later, he’s thriving—having soloed and getting close to earning his private pilot’s license. I can confidently say that choosing Epic was the best decision we made. It’s not just about the classes, curriculum, or training—it’s about finding a place where students truly feel like they belong and can flourish.

Epic Flight Academy in Tallahassee is a good place to learn how to fly! They have a great fleet and you feel they are concerned about safety in how they care for the planes. Truly a rewarding, excellent experience getting my certificates there. I did a little training at the main Daytona campus also; it is an excellent facility! All around one of the most rewarding endeavors of my life to attend flight school here. The instructors can be a bit young, but you can always find one who teaches well and switch if you're not satisfied with the initial instruction you recieve.

I am happy to report that the level of professionalism at Epic has exceeded my expectations thus far. Everyone has been extremely cordial, fostering a sense of camaraderie, genuine care, and sincerity in ensuring student success - a quality that distinguishes Epic from many other flight academies, and I’ve toured quite a few.
You are not merely a number to them; rather, they genuinely prioritize each student-cadet's best interests.
A puppy mill?” No way! I sadly have experience with one, and I assure you that I would know. Having endured that experience, I did my due diligence when choosing the best Flight Academy this time around and I’m extremely confident that I got right!
Anyhow, the training fleet comprises newer Cessna 172 SP models, including seven brand-new aircraft en route from the factory, equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin G1000 avionics. Additionally, the academy operates newer twin-engine Piper Seminoles with the Garmin G1000 suite.
I am scheduled to attend orientation on the 7th, and ground school will commence officially on the 10th.

Today I flew to my own wedding and flew me and my new wife out of the venue. Amazing memories for us and it all went smoothly thanks to his training, experience and passion. Was every lesson smooth? No. He called me out when I got stuck in my own mind and coerced me to find my confidence. I wouldn't have been successful flying to and from my wedding on my own without the knowledge he passed on to me. His passion is evident, his knowledge runs deep, and his humor and attitude keeps you relaxed so you don't over-think, panic or contradict yourself.

It's given not every cfi is a one size fits all for students, but I have nothing negative to say about him or how he trains. He has been incredible and I will be forever grateful. Promote ahead of peers this one, he's a good egg.
