This is a tough one - the views are AMAZING and lord knows I couldn't hike up the mountain to get these pix, but worth $200 for a family of four? I'd say emphatically yes if they stayed open for sunset pictures. I like the fact that the ticket works for lionshead and vail - unfortunately, we did not take advantage of it. As for the coaster, yes it's fun, but for almost $40 for less than two minutes? I'd probably save the money and invest into another activity.

We bought the buy 3 get 1 free pass (2 adults/2 teens) and had such a wonderful time on the mountain. Honestly, we thought it was a great deal for the price with all of the attractions open. The Alpine Flyer was the absolute favorite of the day and the kids and adults went down multiple times (the lines were maybe a 15 minute wait every time). I really loved the ease of the ascent coming back up the mountain after enjoying the slide down. Very relaxing 🙂 The adventure courses were very fun, some easy, some harder, the tubing was enjoyable and the quick zip line (which was a little extra) my family really enjoyed. The climbing wall was also something the family enjoyed. All in all, I'd say for the price and for all that was included, this was a great fun adventure and would love to travel back there sometime. Definitely don't forget the sunscreen because, at the higher elevation, you'll get burnt faster! Also, the food on the deck was pretty good too! Incredible views.

Sorely disappointed. Over priced, long lines and half the activities were closed. The first week of August, at 9:45 in the morning, our family of 6 waited in the ticket line for 30 minutes only to be told that the only tickets they were selling were the package tickets (which supposedly included all the attractions) and cost $109 per person. One was not able to purchase a la carte activity tickets because it was too crowded. Luckily my husband and I have the Epic Pass so we could ride the gondola for free, but had to drop $450 for the four kids. We then had to wait 15 minutes to board the gondola. When we finally reached the top, we were told the coaster wait was a whopping 90 minute wait! So, we chose to go to other attractions. The zipline was closed. The ropes corse was closed. The downhill tubing was closed. The only options for my 16 year olds, 13 year old and 11 year old were to do the bungee trampoline (they said no thanks) or to wait for 90 minutes for the coaster. It was one expensive ride - we waited 90 minuted for a 90 second ride that cost $109. Makes Disney look dreamy. At least the views were pretty. Bottom line, save your money and your time and go on a beautiful hike instead.

Extremely disappointed with this company. I paid $99 for an all day pass to go up the mountain and do the activities. Within an hour of being there they closed all of the activities for a storm and asked us to go back down the mountain. They opened back up later, but my group already had pre-paid reservations for a different activity elsewhere so we could not return. They refused to give us any kind of refund or rain check so essentially my group of 3 is out $300 for nothing. Don’t waste your time, energy or money on this company, they don’t deserve it.

We are staying in vail village. Late June. The family walked down early to buy a day passes at the bottom of the lionshead gondola. My kids were excited to ride the “roller coaster”. Rides opened at 10:00. We were one of the first ones down. At 10:55, all the rides got shut down due to a lightning storm. I went into the ticket office at the top and asked what happens. We haven’t even been here an hour. Is there a rain check policy, he said their hands were tied until everything was shut down for 75 minutes. When the storm came in it got really cold and windy and my kids were miserable. So, we went down the gondola and I went back to the ticket office at the base. They said that I would have to wait out the 75 minutes. So, we all walked back to the hotel in vail village. I called the office at 11:30 and they said that the rides were opened about 30 minutes ago. Ergo, no refund or rain check. My daughter wanted to try again. So we walk back down to lions head. By the time we got there, it was raining. I said can I get a rain check, I paid for a day and didn’t even get an hour. They said, well, the rides are open. So, no. I said it’s really cold, raining, and windy. My daughter would be crying if she had to stay outside up there. They said. Sorry, the rides are open and there are no rain checks if the rides are open. I said, practically speaking they are closed. It’s almost July, we didn’t bring snow gear. They said there was nothing they could do. The 75 minutes of lightning, not rain, is the only way to get a rain check. That’s the policy.

I didn’t catch this at the time but they said most of these storms pass quickly. Translation: there is almost no chance there is going to be a 75 min lightning storm.

I think a partial refund would be fair, but they don’t budge. It’s a bad policy will detract from our overall experience in Vail.

Buyer beware. You will sold something at the bottom ticket office and get to the top only to be told something different. we saw numerous families come into the top ticket office complaining that they got to an activity and don't have the right passes. Ultimate Pass does NOT get you everything contrary to what they tell you.

The view are spectacular. The staff is friendly. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 because it was pricey. Some of the rides weren't finish but they didn't offer discount for that.

Huge lines, huge prices. For 100 bucks a ticket at Vail for kids no line should be more than 15 minutes. We have been here 2 hours and and rode 1 ride.
