Wow! What a great place! My 7 and yr old especially enjoyed it. My 14/13 yr old had fun too but it's definitely more geared towards a younger crowd. Either way everyone enjoyed the exhibits. There were a few down and closed off areas which was too bad but we still very much enjoyed our visit.

Took my granddaughter and her friend, they are 9 & 10. They enjoyed it and we spent 2 hours there. There is a reptile room, birds and fish as well as chinchillas, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders. There are large birds, and a tortoise 🐢 outside. The learning and interactive centers are cool. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a small section of merchandise for souvenirs, and a decent size outdoor area! It was a Saturday afternoon, & they were hosting a birthday party, so it was a tad busy. There was plenty of free parking, in front of the building. $12 each, admission fee.

Our family loves this small but fun filled science museum. We celebrated our twins birthday and loved it. Not only was it a stress free party but most importantly everyone, children and adults had fun. My children chose to have the creature feature experience with Sugar Gliders, a Ball Python, a Bearded Dragon and a Guinea Pig. Eileen shared interesting facts about these creatures while engaging the kids with questions making it overall a great experience. I am grateful for the staff and volunteers who make this place possible. Keep up the good work!

We are members of this museum, and it’s so wonderful!! I regularly take my three-year-old who talks about the next time he can go whenever he’s not there and frequently leaves at closing time… Lol because he loves it so much! And the program for being able to go to over 300 other museums nationwide for free is amazing!! I will be renewing again and I frequently tell others all about the membership opportunities and all of the things that the Emerald coast science center does for the community! And yes, sometimes some of the things are broken down, but it’s very hard to prevent abuse sometimes with so many people handling things sometimes harshly and with budget cuts, I think that the Emerald Coast Science Center does the absolute best they can and I feel like we should all help take pride in this place to preserve it! We need you all! ❤️

Super nice staff and lots of really positive and interesting activities for kids. I like how interactive it was. My only complaint is that there were so many exhibits that didn’t work/were out of order. Like 20%.

I’m sure it’s from wear and tear from the kids but it’s disappointing to keep having your kid run to something and then you have to tell them that that exhibit isn’t working. Half of the broken ones don’t even have out of order signs on them.

Having said that, we still feel like we got our money’s worth and our kids, ages 7 and 8 rally enjoyed themselves.

We love this place! The exhibits are all hands on and the kids could spend hours here, despite the relatively small size. The staff is always super friendly, enthusiastic and helpful! Very educational and extremely fun! We've been coming here since we moved here in 2016 and it gets better every year - the staff puts so much love and care into the exhibits and events. Even my teens still love to come here.

We got in mostly free with a membership for another museum! I was skeptical when I first saw it because you go around this strange little area before you see the museum but it was awesome! There was plenty to see inside the museum and a fun range of activities for all ages. There were Animals, interactive machines (a couple didn’t work) and it would have been great to use the hurricane simulator. The museum know about both things that were not working now and have been working to get them going again! lots of information on the walls about all kinds of science things! There was a fun outdoors area as well and I found the place quite exciting! I like how much they have fit into the small ish museum and it’s very well thought out. I wish all the interactive machines worked but it was a great time. My 4 and 5 year olds liked it a lot and we would definitely visit next time we are there. Staff were lovely and there was enough parking. Can’t imagine that’s the case with school out but when it’s in, parking is a breeze 😃

Super friendly & knowledgeable staff. Smaller facility but priced accordingly. Fun science exhibits for the kids that are all hands on as well as a number of animals and a nice shaded outdoor interactive area. If you are in the area and have kids it's worth a couple hours to stop and check out.
