We recently had a wedding at Margaritaville Resort Orlando that was going to have an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and after-party. When we had to communicate the Plan B due to inclement weather, Joe was on it and made all the necessary logistical changes without missing a beat. Elegant Entertainment was a great choice for us as a DJ for our wedding. They are very thorough with asking for song choices, and are super easy to get into contact with for any questions or changes you have. For example, we originally only wanted the DJ to be there for the reception (not ceremony/cocktail hour), but we were able to add the extra hours later when we realized we needed mics/speakers for the ceremony. We were also able to book a meeting on short notice to help us fill out the song request form. Even on the day of, the DJ was great at helping my husband and his mom shorten the mother-son dance. The DJ did it so seamlessly, that no one even noticed that the song ended early. He was also great at handling requests, and blending both Latin music and American pop music so both of our families were happy.

So call me queen of procrastination but also the queen of the truth haha let me tell you about my amazing DJ Joe from my wedding in March 2023! I have known Joe for about 5 years, I have seen him work multiple weddings and events so it made my decision quite easy when I needed to find a wedding DJ myself so hopefully this helps make your decision just as easy! Joe is a one stop shop for your entertainment needs and will be your friend and give you guidance along the way if needed. He sent us a questionnaire that makes planning your music from start to finish so easy! And that’s what you need when you’re planning an event like this, you need things to be easy and stress free and that’s what you will get with Joe! We had a very sudden death in the family a week before the wedding and Joe helped us make last minute changes and was very understating and patient with us during this time and I am forever grateful for all the kindness we were given during such a crazy time in our life.
For our wedding Joe provided all our wedding music from ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception including the wedding exit, Photo Booth, uplighting in the reception, a custom gobo, cold sparks during our first at dance and exit, and dry ice for our dancing on the clouds effect during our first dance. He created so many wow moments for us and our guests that is priceless and unforgettable. I will always be so happy and proud of the decision we made for our wedding DJ!

We booked Joe with Elegant Entertainment for our reception and he kept the good vibes going! Joe had us fill out an extensive detail list on what songs we wanted for cake cutting, grand entrances, first dance, mother/son, father/daughter dances, and he even worked with us on our idea with a photo lightning round with each table. We also opted to have uplighting which Joe was able to provide. Normally weddings I have been to it is all the younger guests out on the floor dancing, but that was not the case with Elegant Entertainment! We had guests from all generations out on the dance floor all night. We even had a great aunt dancing the night away with her walker! So happy with our results and I have received so many genuine compliments on how the music was great!

Joe really has magical DJ powers! With only 50ish guest my groom and I were worried our dance floor was not going to be the party we hoped but he always knew the perfect song to get the energy up or when to slow it down to take a breath. Our ceremony perfectly played out thanks to his perfectly timed playlist and all the microphones so our quest could hear us without a doubt. I would book elegant entertainment time and time again. Elegant Entertainment was incredible at our wedding! Our biggest priority was getting everyone on the dance floor, and they delivered—guests stayed dancing all night long. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Joe at a wedding at the Dr. Phillips House at Lake Lucerne. Joe really made the wedding special! Not only did he keep the party going, but he also supplied lights and cold sparklers.

He created the most magical moment for the bride and groom with their first dance. Cold sparklers were going off in the background as well as customized lighting. As a new day-of-coordinator (I founded Florida Weddings LLC) it was by far the most special moment I have witnessed in my first year of wedding planning.
