First time trying crab enchiladas! It was delicious. My margarita did have a lot of ice but other than that no complaints. Service and food were great!

We said the last time we went (a couple years ago) that we'd never go again. However, some new friends wanted to meet here so we agreed. I would say that this time the experience was worse than before. Mediocre food (and not much of it), terrible service (we waited forever to get things we asked for (salsa, our check, pick up the check and then to get the receipt back!), and mixing up our order. Ambiance was lacking.
No thank you will be our response to anyone who wants to go there in the future.

I went there for lunch with a couple friends for the first time. They have some good lunch specials I had the combination chili relleno and cheese enchilada with rice and beans I thought the price was fair and the food was very good. Jessica our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the meals she even told us about the Sunday brunch which I will have to try someday.

El Patron needs help from a competent manager who knows how to handle a busy restaurant. Had dinner on Friday the place was packed, but an untrained waitress did not know how to handle a busy rush. We waited 30 minutes to be seated in horrible spot right at the front door. we were bumped into by several waitresses. The manager (man) was running around like he had never seen a busy restaurant. We ordered drinks, and they were incorrect twice. The waitress Catlyn never checked on us or was interested in what we needed. This is our neighborhood restaurant. Dinner was overcooked and stuck to the plate. Looks like we will find another spot to have dinner. El Patrons seating arrangements are horrible. We used to love this place. However, it is not the same dining experience we were used to. These reviews are given to learn from. I hope they read this one and do better, especially when you're paying over $100 buck for dinner and drinks. We were not happy with the entire experience. BTW, this is the second time we've had a bad experience. I'm not sure if we will give them another chance.

So many choices for Mexican food in this town and this one leans more towards the American tourist type of food. Some flavor but it does need salsa or sauce on it to flavor it up. It seems that it is more of a drinking restaurant than a traditional Mexican restaurant. I am surrounded by great Mexican cooks in my family, so I think that I will stay satisfied with their cooking and get a beer out of my refrigerator. Staff is very kind and they work very hard for their money !!!
