El Dorado is a charming community located between the small towns of Sherman and Denison. The community offers amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and clubhouse. Resident events and activities are also hosted throughout the year.

el dorado was nice community back in 2019 they keep the pool working, tree trimmed back pine cones remove after the sale of el dorado in dec 2020 things started to changed people that was told by yes community Editing this review: Unfortunately they cannot stay staffed. The newest manager and leasing agent (at Shadow Mountain, Felix and Kallie) sit in the office and refuse to answer the phone. They lock the office doors during business hours as well so they do not have to acknowledge tenants. You have to go to Shadow Mountain and knock on the door and stand there until they realize you will not leave until they answer. The manager constantly blames lack of funding on the corporate office, Yes Communities, to which he says do not care to provide funds to improve on the park issues. They have more drug dealing and domestic issues than most places in the area. There are literally no amenities to Eldorado, yet they continue to raise the lot rent. You cannot fence in your yard or improve upon your lot yet they continue to raise the lot rent. Knollwood allows you to put up privacy or chainlink fencing and charges half the rate for a double lot. They have many amenities as well. The manager is lazy, crude, and most unprofessional. The leasing agent is just as tactless. Yes Communities is the worst property management/owner you can find. They are trash and they allow their properties become such as well. Felix push many out end lose in court 3 times and getting all fired with all new staff best thing was to move after all you as a home owner own the house can legal move it any time just let bank know 30 days before that of moving it and don't have to stay in community they act you or doesn't care about the community. el dorado hardly has anyone or people that fixed things the community still failing apart with no hope to have anything fixed with your house or the outside of community that looks like living in dallas as they keep letting it go then to better it or fixed all the houses in there it run down park and the other one not much better soon apt moving in will hurt the parks more . the new owners that take over in dec 2020 wasted 10k in court fighting to lose each time and state court they never said sorry or did anything but it was to go and was the best thing sad they could handily lose in court or state court or even pay for the pain they did. i would not buy or rent from them cost of house more then one from dealership . Watch out they sale black mold house

Ive been living here about 4 months and i ansolutly love it. I have 2 children and i can let them outside and play without any worries. Very quite and relaxing here. I recommend ed dorado to anyone that is also looking for a quite and calm neighborhood. We love new neighbors!

The property manager of El Darado is awesome she is very helpful how ever I have put in a maintenance order three times since I moved in no one has came to fix my broken shower heads there's a hole in the cabinet door in the kitchen that was there when I moved in nobody has came to replace that. I sat and watch the maintenance order he put in and no one has came yet.

Terrible experience with this dealership. Asking for more money on a used car then what a new one cost. Came in with our own financing and they wouldn't even use it. Would not negotiate price. Absolutely horrible experience.

The community is great. The opportunity to purchase your home is available. These are homes that previous people have lived. But it’s a great community and pricing is great. Would love the opportunity to be here someday when I need a home.
