Sadie teaches cardio yoga here on tuesdays at 6:30pm. She is amazing!! I love that this branch is so close to their community and hosts lots of community events. Please let Sadie know she is truly valued!

this library is a mess is already Monday 10.00 am the library still close the employees no even put an anuncement, homeless made a mess in the bathroom and the Security didn’t work that day

Went here today because the city of LA website said it offers free COVID tests 8am-3pm everyday without an appointment. I went within that time frame and the test center was not operating. I recommend making an appointment at another site instead of taking the chance to see if it’s open.

The testing site is not at the library but behind it at 2044 Reservoir St. It offers completely free PCR covid tests with results within 24 hours. An appointment is never needed and you now only need to sign up once and can come back and test anytime. How do I know this? I manage this covid test site.

This is a wonderful public library. In this day & age I am all about books in print. Computers are easy to reserve. The librarians are pleasant & helpful. With the exception of a few grumpy volunteers I enjoy the time I spend here.

I love this library, confusingly located squarely in Echo Park, whereas the Echo Park branch is confusingly located smack dab in the middle of Historic Filipinotown. I used to pick up all my holds there, they are kept right in front and you can see them sitting there. Like all LA libraries it always seems occupied entirely by the unhoused using the internet but they try to show movies for kids and do stuff like that. Try the Cafe around the corner!
