This seems like a nice work-in-progress park. We went for a lacrosse tournament and it was packed. There seems to be a lack of parking for the amount of visitors the event attracted. If you want a good (or legal) spot at a large event, get there early.

My family and I have been visiting this park for many years. My kids also play in the rec soccer league there. The grass used to be PERFECT but now it has definitely taken a beating. The parking lot is big, but it is not easy to exit. It definitely needs a signal light to help people enter and leave on Citrus St.

Back for more great-granddaughter soccer games. I was pleasantly surprised to see field has been re-sodded. It is beautiful. Last year there were issues with restrooms. Hopefully, better this year.

This is a very nice community park and is fairly new. The trees are not mature, so there is no shade. There is ample parking but when the soccer games are scheduled, plan to walk to your assigned field. As this is a soccer venue, there are several soccer fields and the space for your easy-up can be limited when side by side fields are in use. There are public restrooms. Do not confuse this park with the very large soccer complex nearby. This is a community park with soccer fields on the westside of Hamner. The much larger sports and soccer complex is on the eastside of Hamner.

Nice short trail, mostly flat with some small hills, the sound of the river flowing with the fresh air makes it worthwhile.
