Our room was spacious with 2 bedrooms and a great balcony with 5 star views of the sunset. The property is undergoing renovations so not sure if all units will be remodeled to reflect modern trends. Our unit had a 2000's to 2010's decor. The unit was very well maintained and very clean. It feels more like a residential property with a very nice pool and direct access to the beach than a luxury hotel. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. There are basic and limited food options by the pool

This resort is excellent for children and families. Close proximity to the beach. No real resturants in the sight. The snack shed by the pool is finicky and hit or miss. The ground crews use power tools early in the day, even if Sundays.

Eagles Nest was a beautiful resort right on the gulf. Every room is facing water. Staff was amazing! Margo, activities leader was great and made each day fun for young and old(er)! Pool area and grounds were kept clean and manicured. We will be back!

This resort does everything right. The rooms are immaculate, the management checks in often and staff is friendly. And, don’t get me started on the spectacular beach views. *****Five stars and two thumbs up from me! I’ve been an owner for seven years and love to vacation in my own town here.

Well maintained resort with friendly staff, convenient location, and amazing sunset views!
But this timeshare is much more RCI level than Wyndham. They are still stuck in the 1900s.
Wi-Fi is spotty everywhere. Good luck streaming anything in the evenings when everyone is using Internet! The TVs in the rooms are not even Internet enabled— so no Netflix. You can’t plug in an HDMI cable and watch anything off your laptop. You’re stuck with old cable TV shows.
Coffee pods are provided, but cream and sugar packets are not. Neither is salt and pepper.
Some afternoons, a DJ sets up in the cabana and blasts music across the entire pool area. Makes it hard to listen to an audiobook or your own music in your headphones.
I know this is all little stuff, but it does add up. We have found other Hilton grand vacations resorts to be more connected and more with the times.

My wife and I were here for just a week and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were all incredible, the proximity to so many different options for things to do was extremely helpful and they are very clean and we'll maintained. No bar or ATM on site but was not a big deal at all!

Fantastic resort on the gulf. All units updated. Nice pool and 2 hot tubs. All units face the gulf. Great beach for walking or shelling.

Very disappointed by the room cleanliness and overall treatment from the staff. We have been owners here since the 1980s and the overall maintenance fee every year is not worth it for anyone looking to purchase. On our second day I awoke to the smell of coffee in my bed and I discovered that there had been coffee spilled onto the sheets next to the night stand like someone had tipped their cup over and in the day light I saw the stain on the floor from it. So I concluded that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests. Very disgusted by this discovery I went straight down to the front desk and they sent someone upstairs.

There was never any form of forgiveness given by the staff or form of compensation for this. I informed the staff downstairs about the stain on the floor and all they did was nod their heads. I am very saddened by this stay because also we pay for an extended balcony that usually has two sun chairs, this time there was only one. The level of mosquitoes at night is also insane. My family and I went down to the beach for sunset and on our five minute walk back each of us got had received at least 20 bug bites.

Hoping this can lead to changes being made.
